Last race of the season……. Pushups are in order on the front straight after awards….
Immediately after the awards ceremony I will commence a workout of 3 pushups for all to take part of..
These will be in memory of those fallen, those fighting and those fat terds sitting on the couch thinking they are the baddest of all…
    Time: Sunday
    Place: The Track
    Action: Pushups

If you don’t like it leave, if you like is stay, if your motivated join……..

Bonham, I’m motivated. But I can’t be at the location. I’ll take your 3 pushup challenge solo. Don’t worry, I’ll make it hurt.

    Wait, that was disturbing.

I’ll still do the pushups, though.

Saturday would be a good day for that. Sunday warmup is generally a quick session to make sure nothing falls off. < 10 laps

I blame my dad, too. He raced and built karts back in the day. His father had a lawnmower repair shop which led to his interest in small engine repair. He tells me often of a kart he built which had a large chainsaw engine on it. He used it to dominate at his local dirt circle track and to get in lots of trouble with the cops. When I was growing up I found an old box of his karting magazines. I read them ALL cover to cover sitting in the attic of the garage., thats when I got the bug. He’s a machinist and still more than handy with a wrench. We could never afford a kart when I was a kid and I never lost the bug.

The most fun race I had was the Greeley GP with my dad in the pits. I hope I can race again and have him with me. He gets a real kick out of the ‘new’ karts.

I know you put Kistler in there just for ratings.

Thank goodness Jansen and Schmidt are still around, I thought Field and I had the whole internet to ourselves. Team HARDKart/GMS is prepared for battle in motodomo spec light against a surging Jack Bradley and always strong Corey Milne. Darkhorse Logan Kirk is always a threat for a podium and we’ll be keeping an eye on his progress as the sessions wind down. Since Deason is mysteriously injured, it will be up to Field to put the #102 on the box. The points race is tight and the title will not be decided until SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY. Keesling will sell you the whole seat but you’ll only need the EDGE!!

    BOMBSHELL!!

Team HARDKart was seen at The Track this afternoon. Team Principal and main brain, Kirk Deason was behind the wheel of the number 102 Spec Moto. Deason was a mere three seconds off the pace but confident that if his crew could just set the darn thing up right, he would be fighting for victories. Deason kicked the kart, broke his toe, and hobbled off to his massive transporter. Confident sources tell us that team telemetry guru, Jeff Field, may indeed be driving this Sunday.

Didn’t Ilmor take a stab at a GP bike, too? I think it ran about one race but still, good engineering.

I had a great time, the atmosphere was exciting and the entire event was well run.

I’d like to thank whomever was thoughtful enough to find my watch and turn it in at the gate. I was doing wheelies on Jeff’s bicycle and flipped over backwards (smooooooth). Other than busting my ass, my watch came off and I didn’t realize it was gone until I got back to my pit. I went back to the scene of the my mad freestyle moves and couldnt find it. I checked the gate yesterday and sure enough, some kind soul had turned it in—saving me A LOT of stress. Thanks to the CO karting community for your honesty.

    Hey Kirk,

    Where will the facility be?

I think there are several options for his location, he sounded like he was waiting for other things to fall into place (maybe financing?) but the plans seem to be well in hand. I had him add me to his email list for info and told him to post here to help get the word out. I also dropped a hint that advertising here would be a GREAT idea.

I talked to the owner yesterday, they will be electric karts (fast, reliable). He is hoping to open at the end of the summer.
