These ICA’s are gone (just called) but they still have some JICA’s with pipes but no carbs.

And my main concern was getting a finger caught while trying to adjust the carb on a rotary valve ICA…pssshaw…I guess the P&W might have an edge on torque. I’ll start looking for one. Thanks Ricky.

I think I found a JICA for 400 bucks complete with carb and pipe…maybe time to harass some TAGs. Jon there are 4 Aircooled ICA’s on EKN right now for about 350 each but they need a top end and it doesn’t look like they come with a carb or pipe.

    Press Release:

Team HARDKart SuperTuner, Kirk Deason, is heading to Tuscon this weekend in support of Team Ziegler Racing’s new S2 star driver, Eli Ziegler. This will be Ziegler’s first race in the ranks of the fast senior drivers in S2.

When asked about their chances this weekend, Deason stated “Optimistically, we’ve got a top 30 kart in the 30 driver field.”and “We’re looking to improve on our experiences gained in November at the Supernationals where Eli finished a strong 10th in a very tough S5 group of drivers.”

When this reporter approached Eli, the driver was looking for a large rock with which to hit his tuner and had no comment.

Deason then continued to ramble some stuff about the new MG whites opening a new tuning paradigm or something but this reporter had walked away in search of Jeff Field for some REAL insight. Deason added “I’m just here to beat Field!” as a large rock flew past his head.

….. racing on Visa only lasts so long.

For me, that was about 3 seasons–and the third was stretching it waaay too thin. I don’t blame anyone else, I was the one who knew (deep down) that I couldn’t afford this. Tires being 40 bucks a set cheaper would not have kept me going any longer. I still dream, though…one of these days, TEAM HARDKART will be back with a couple ICA motors to terrorize the run what ya brung class! Until then, I’m happy wrenching and being around people who love to go fast.

I aspire to racing geezerdom like Kistler and Schmidt, two guys who have really helped me out. I’ll pay it forward.

My goal is to make my driver faster than any driver Jeff Field is tuning for. :rant

This will be Eli Ziegler’s first year in S2 and I am looking forward to doing everything I possibly can for him and his dad. I love being at the track with all of the great racers and families.

Jansen, hold my beer, watch this!

I really wish you would take my driving suit seriously. And my mask.

Tier 2 support is diligently working on the trouble ticket that you have submitted. Management will be in contact shortly to discuss a resolution.

This is CLEARLY user error. As an IT guy, I deal with your kind all day, Mikey. I’m just kidding, try Firefox, log out, log back in, etc.

Jesse, I may be available to help you take that beast to the track and get it pointed in the right direction. Do you need high octane fuel? Is it a high compression motor? I don’t have any experience with a modified Honda but others may chime in here. Brad at IMI may have some or there is a motorcycle race shop in town that probably carries the VP fuel you need. Does your seat fit?

I know you may be tempted to get it running and rip up and down the cul-de-sac a few times but please please wait until you get to a track.

Let me know when you are going to the track and I’ll try to come out. Welcome to the addiction.

Sheldon, PROTIP: add a towel to that neck donut to catch the drool for those inevitable naps.
