The Briggs classes had the LARGEST turn out of ALL classes. They would have been one of the largest in the CSC . SKUSA was the main PROBLEM. J.B you were at the IMI CSC races. You saw the Briggs class turn out. I do hope things will be diff. in 2006.Local option rules shouldnt have exceptions.ie.tires.

How is the CSC ” The Next Level of Karting” when you race against the same people in club races?Racing diff. tracks is cool, but next level? Kinda disrespecting towards club racers.I’m so tired of the Were better than you attitude towards Briggs racers, that I’ve seen in my 4yrs. racing karts. How much money did the CSC loose because they 86’d ALL the Briggs classes? The classes with the largest participation. This holier than thou attitude BS is why Karting will never grow.Racing is Racing.Engine package shouldnt matter.

I for one am NOT going to wear my suit in 80-90 deg temps after racing . In fact I’m going to wear shorts and a greasy t-shirt.

Ken, I am also an ex AMA/SRAC -motocross/supercross racer that switched to kart racing due to a near fatal practice crash 5yrs ago. FORGET everything you know about motorcycle racing cause kart racing is a whole diff. animal. It will drive you crazy if you look at kart racing through motorcycle eyes. Its very obvious why kart racing is such a tiny sport compared to motorcycle racing. IMO Its full of B.S…Love to race though. 😀

Todd,Let me bring you out of the dark. I get 4 races out of a set of YHC compared to 1 w/ MG. ,that the other racers are getting.99% of my class run MG.And YES I’m out front. That was the main issue w/ the 4 cycle racers . TIRES!!!!

If you DON’T have deep pockets $$$$ , the Briggs Modified class is a great class to race in. Right now it has the largest turn out at IMI club races. You dont have to run spec. tires, and compete with racers who have a money tree in their backyard. NO B.S. BLUE COLLAR RACING AT ITS BEST! Contact IMI . I believe they are still running the JR2 ANIMAL class. The CSC for some reason deleted that class.
