ParticipantWell, since we went clockwise last CSC race I’d have to assume that we’re going counterclockwise this time.
Right Brad?
Besides, clockwise you have a tendency to have mechanical breakdowns and DNF… :barf
That doesn’t happen going counterclockwise :banana

Participanton the 17th we ran clockwise, so it will be counter clockwise.
The registration form will be available soon online, you may be able to register at IMI now.
Mike, glad you found the new smilies! :jump

ParticipantWell, you updated the smilies so i upgraded my signature. Everyone knows I lobbied for the 20 laps and now it’s time for some knowledge or history. Check it out…
That’s how racing’s SUPPOSED to be…
And yes, I was around to witness this…July 19, 2005 at 7:54 pm #51246Anonymous

ParticipantAlex,
They should erect a monument to Gilles. Enzo Ferrari said he was like the son he never had. He absolutely grabbed the car by the scruff of the neck and wrung it for all it had. Ayrton Senna reminded me of that quality.
If you ever have a chance to see archival footage of Gilles races you’ll see something we’ll probably never see again since no one drove like he did. And he had honour. He could have (and should have) won the driver’s championship in 79 but adhered to team orders set up earlier in the year and let his teammate take the title. Check out Monaco races and Eau Rouge in Belgium… :bow
That’s how I am going to drive at IMI at month’s end! Rich, Charles, Lee are you ready??? No pom poms for me, I’ve got a DNF to rectify!
:check

Participantthe raceday schedule is posted 7-31 schedule
I thought the day went pretty well last time at IMI. With so many karters, so many flights, there isn’t much that can make the day shorter. That day, we completed the last main at 7:00 pm (before dark). At Grand Junction, without the Briggs Modified or Junior 1 4cycle, we were done with the last main at 6:30. At Action Karting, the final lap of the mains was complete at 6:25.
We will do our best to keep things running smooth. The racers can help, too, by being ready in pre-grid, knowing where to line up, paying attention to get the starts done on the first try, etc.See you in a week!!

InactiveAngie:
Why did you move the kids back to the begining of the schedule. You know AJ likes to sleep in!Jay

ParticipantJay, 😥 at least I have one class between you and AJ ! Some other comments from Kid Kart parents were that they like having the Main done earlier. I really just mixed up the schedule again, and tried to give all of those doing two classes a gap between them – which limits the ways to rearrange it!
How was the Cascade Locks event? Didn’t see any results posted.
