Curt, Your not a Briggs Racer so you dont have a dog in this fight. Rulebook???? We are running last years rules,Worthless. Scoring??? had it last year. Each track had its own race director, should I go on?Bottom line……………………. :bs:
Kurt, The rules for this class are available from Bobby at IMI, The class at CRE is called the Animal Modified. The rules are the same.We will be on the track w/ the WF’s. It was the csc board who cancelled this class not us.We had some issues. The spec tire rule was not the only issue.CRE spec tire is SL-4, we got em.If IMI spec’s a tire, we’ll have them too. Dont worry this motor package is here to stay.Skusa had nothing to offer us Briggs racers for $125.00 PERIOD…………………….
After building up this class over the past few years in one swoop SKUSA/CSC wiped this class out.Thank You .The first step was getting rid of the JR2 ANIMAL.Now the Mod. ANIMALS a gone.JR1 ANIMALS watch out next season. SKUSA IS NOT BRIGGS FRIENDLY .Its all about shifter/tag mania……….. If they were, they would run Briggs classes.They are not the only show in town. I wanna race, so I gotta go were the racers are going, and to the CSC their NOT. The majority said NO.The CSC board needs to come clean and reveal that all along they had no intention on working w us. It was their way or the highway. Well guess what, we’re talking the highway……south to CRE. I’ m done with this subject. Thanks for the offer Craig. Happy Racing :cheers:
Let me clarify a few things. This is not bullying ,not a boycott ,and it was a core majority of the class, not a few, who decided not to participate, for various reasons.. Also, I’m curious to how many CSC classes will be cancelled that dont have 6 in a class? I’m betting NONE! HAPPY RACING e veryone………………… :cheers:
Sorry Ray,I have tried for almost a month to work things out with the CSC Board, to no avail. They will not budge an inch .All I got was lip service.They werent interested. Thank You SKUSA . The Briggs Mod. Class will be racing IMI Club races and will travel to CRE in place of the CSC. :bs:
The question is How many racers are competeing in The CSC. We need to lock these dates in for the majority NOT the minority.Changing these dates for a few at best, is ridiculas.
Theres a good question. How many Shifter /Tag racers would be willing to join WKA/IKF instead of SKUSA?? Either way I’ll be there racing my LAWNMOWER ENGINE…………….
In response to Craig M. The Senior 4 Cycle Mod. Animal class did and do have a set of rules.They were listed on this site,and were avail. at IMI.
The only thing good about sanctioned racing is they DO NOT put kids in ADULT classes ………………….HINT HINT
For everyone who had their fingers in their ears,The csc board told us awhile back that we will have rules written up for the csc. If the tracks are not part of a sanctioned org. wka-skusa ect YOU CAN NOT USE THERE RULES IN PRINT .If you do the track owners will get sued.This is club racing. Dont worry, rules will be in BLACK & WHITE!
