    Don,
You must be very proud of Conner and the way he moved up in the final on Saturday. Just to let you know, we had over 25 people under the Kartworks shade tent on the hill pulling for him and all of the other CO Karters.
Every one of our local drivers and tuners raced their guts out and we were all very impressed with all of your efforts. Congratulations to you all!

I was very proud walking out of their Saturday knowing that everyone from Jim and his crew, to the local volunteers put on a totally awsome show for the rest of the world to watch.
Can’t wait for the Altitude broadcast in Sept. The camera in the middle of the sweeper is going to be very exciting to watch.

Now it’s time for Brad to put on a show in October to seal the deal that Colorado takes it’s kart racing very serious.

Great shot Mitch! Is that Rick sleeping under his camper? Wonder what he did to piss her off this time….

We always knew about Jansen, but to call Edwards gay is going to get you hurt. ❗

Team Mark, Ben, Matt and Curt will accept the challenge however. We have already filled out the card!

Sounds like a great weekend you have planned Stacey. Lots of class championships will be decided that weekend as well.

Just came back from watching the final practice sessions at The Track. What a great event they have going out there as well. Look at the times they are posting on MyLaps. Some pretty fast drivers out there in all of the classes. Great to see another top level event in our state.

Are you able to cross the bridge? What is the alt rout out to your track if it’s not crossable?

Our thoughts and prayers are going out to him. Hopefully we can all hear what happened directly from him back at the track soon.

Also, a rookie question. I came through the pit with 3 laps to go so I could reattach the plug wire that popped off. It appears my laps after I rejoined were not timed. Is that the case in sprint races? A pit lane visit is game over?

    Welcome jibco!
The timing system should have caught your laps after your unplanned pit stop. Either Angie did something up in the tower, or your transponder got wigged out with a hot plug wire floating around near the unit. It should register on the computer every time the transponder crosses the timing strip at the line.
Great job in driving that CRG around. Feel free to pinch Ben anytime you feel the urge, especially when he is in front of Matt 😉
BTW: That was Ben’s old man that pushed started you right in front of him. We all gave him some grief, it’s our job as tuner dad’s to give each other the business when we deserve it.

We had a great time chasing Ben around again and just relaxing between heats. All of the shifter guys looked to be having fun finding their own little battles. Bummer to see Matt Burton have a bad motor day as he was right up front and driving very well.

I would like to see more tech if possible, when possible. They did get to have the top shifters gone through after the main. Don’t know if they caught anything, but it’s always good to see someone looking even at the club level.

Was nice to meet some newbies at the track too. We even have a new addition into the spec shifter class. I personally want to welcome Bryan LeBlanc driving the 09 GP spec shifter to our class. He was out there having a blast in only his second time racing. We look forward to many future races with him.

Cheers to the IMI “short handed staff” getting it all in safely and in almost record time.

See you all in a couple of weeks.

PS: Great job in repairing the race surface Brad. Looks like the tempory fix should hold up for round 4 of the CSC.

Yes Kirk you are basically on direct drive once you are on track in the heat of the battle with the RPM’s high. The momentum style of driving is less forgiving than what we do in shifters.
TAG is much more cost effective than ICA due to the fact that you only need one motor per season, for most racers, where as ICA top level drivers show up with as many as four power plants to get through one weekend. All motors that survive or not get a fresh bottom end after they are run. Get’s pretty pricey, just ask Richie from RBI about his past ICA experiences. He has some great stories to be told.

The ICA stuff rev’s out to 20K! You should hear them race when there is a full field. They are also about 1 – 1.5 seconds a lap faster that a top notch TAG motor.

One little mistake and you go from 1st to 5th in a matter of one corner. Pretty amazing to watch, and they are the elite drivers in karting.

Thanks Dave. We will be pitting with Kartworks this weekend like we do at all races. My buddy Rick has it all figured out.

Hey give me a call, I have a neighbor looking for a tax man. I told him about you and could not find any contact info on you. 303-901-2894.

Thanks again for the offer, and we will be there all weekend if anyone wants a piece of us 😛

God Bless The Unions! Let me know when you are serious about a full time position. We can’t find enough qualified electricians in CS.

Good Luck in the meantime, hope to see you at the next race.
