Participant7 races would be great….but i think keeping the 5 regular tracks as “points races” and the temp tracks optional ala RockIsland G.P., etc would make it a lot cheaper and easier for most people to try and be at all 5 events. Thats almost half the tire bill of a 9 race deal…..a move in the right direction for karting if you ask me. I mean, no offense, but 9+sets of tires minimum (more like 15) is a $2300 hit + entry fees, fuel, chains, sprockets=$3500 bucks or so for local racing.

ParticipantIsn’t Centennial a pretty smooth track too? Also, i think most of us live closer to it and wouldn’t need to spend extra $$ to stay trackside. Nothing against GJ, just looking for logistics that are easier.

ParticipantYea, maybe make like a Class A or Class B……one for the lighter guys, one for the heavier drivers. Run them together ala ALMS classes for faster and slower cars.

ParticipantSweet ideas guys, i’d down to support it.

I was asking Zalud about the spec class for next year as we will have at least one customer running it. He told me that they were adding Rotax and dropping the Easykart and PRD (No one ran one last year anyway). I think for the western events, Moran and Miller, the Rotax will have the advantage. In the east, both events should favor the Leopard as should the first event at Norman. So naturally, the next question I asked was how often could I switch engines. I haven’t gotten an answer for that yet!
Mike, its always about money.
Sounds awesome Doug. My friend has an old Q31 birel with a Rotax he’ll let me use…..sounds like MMP would be a fun weekend and not too far away.

ParticipantHey Doug, how do Rotaxes fare at the MMP track in Utah? Looks like I’ll make a trip this summer for some fun…..

Rick,
Obviously you can’t see the sarcasm. I don’t know all the drivers that went. So the fat American was a joke. However Americans as a whole are over induldged for the most part. I do not know Roman, so it was not directed at any one person. Being politically correct is not my style life is too short for that crap. I am a nice person thats why I can offer something to a person I don’t know. If someone makes an effort to do something I will help with positive reinforcement.

You sound like the “fat” american dude.
How many days are you at the gym to back that up?Just go away bro……..you sound like every other crazy ass
Football Dad who vicariously lives through their child because he sucked. To attack a dude like Roman who busts his ass and did that well
with a weight penalty (no kidding!) is dispicable. Have your son tack on some extra lead and see how well he does.:bs:

ParticipantIf you don’t teach the kids here to race in the rain……..please don’t EVER bring them to a regional or national race where it might rain…..or expect them to even begin to race Formula cars anywhere else than Arizona.
They will have no rain experience=====dead last place
Doug has it right.
Just my 2 cents…….but this isn’t Golf. The best racers always race rain or shine……..i think we should owe it to our up and coming drivers to get them that experience.

ParticipantYes, the Scot is coming out of karting retirement :sun: .
Just wondered maybe if it was D. Courter….hes not too shabby

Thanks Action Karting.
We had our junk packed by 3:30 and got to sit and watch a lot of finals on Sunday. One of the most enjoyable days of racing in the years we have been envolved in karting.
Thanks again.

P.S. You tag senior guys looked like you had just a bit too much fun at the trophy presentation. So for the race at The Track we will have a guest appearance by a former track record holder in this state driving the #58 Rocky Mountain Kartworks, Motori 7, GP6. 😯 And no its not A.J. or Kyle.
Does the Guest driver have the Initials D.C. by chance?:)
