Naa, Johnson just knows you have to raise the deck when the grass is tall.
That’s all covered in the Memow Greenleaf book “Speed Mowing Secrets”

“they are being restricted by TagUSA with the intent to level the playing field. We all know how difficult that is.”

Yes, very difficult and if this is the test bed for figuring it out I certainly would hope that it would take more than one rain race to come to a conclusion. A test bed is one thing and racing for season points is a nother.
Which one are you doing? Do you expect booth?

IMO Sundays race wasn’t a day to compair and come to a conclusion on the maximum preformance of a racers power plant.
I also wonder where you got the “understanding” that this new motor would be allowed to compete with all the other TAGs? More than a month ago I understood TAGUSA was starting a nother class of tag four strokes with these motors.
Larry I have nothing against the newer four strokes and am a little excited about there development. Yet, for $2,000 more in intial investment I sort of hope that these motors preform better than the current TAG motors, even though the last thing karting needs is more classes to choose from.

Clean them up with a heat gun and putty knife. Try more PSI in the fronts to see if they will build more heat and stay cleaner.
Try to have joey stay in the racing line and out of the rubber marbles that are beside the racing line.

Thanks for keeping up a great place for karters.
I like seeing some pics, yet it seems that the new view has made it so I must scroll across the screen to read any post now, even with my text size set to smallest.

Don’t worry it all goes down hill with age. You’ll forget about the tennis elbow when you have to drive with a donut in the bottom of the seat.

    Mr. Animal,
What kind of animal are you? Welcome to the forums.
I have lots of gears, clutches and chains if your need them.
    Nice looking ride.

The same rules apply in our everyday life.
Try to keep it in mind, if you use the guy in front of you as a brake the most you can gain is being in front of that guy that has a good understanding of what is allowable of your normal operation.

Doug you might need to clean your “specs” off a bit. First I did not see any weeds in the dirt I tilled up and I did take a break from my gardening efforts long enough to finish my first ever main with all the climbing and ramming over the hill teenagers. It was nice to see 29 Bosses racing with out a meat wagon needed.

Here is an add for a bunch of them including the system.
It doesn’t say how much but maybe one of the high rollers around here might be interested in buying it and reselling?
I might be in the market for one of them, if I can find a go kart to put it on.

I guess these car races don’t have a black flag to wave at cars taking out other cars? 😛 LOL

I don’t have a Jr. racer, yet it is still odd to me that the minority in this pole is the starting point. With 1/3 wanting the lowest weight, just what does it take to see where it needs to go?
When I was a kid racing karts the best races were street races that had light, medium and heavy classes that all could be run with the same equipment on the same day just by increasing with lead and a gear change after each race. It didn’t take 11 days to bolt on 25 pounds more for each class.

That kart for sale will probably fit you like a glove.
What your on will make very little differance untill you know what it needs for adjustments and driving style. Pro karters are at the front of our local racing no matter what brand or class of kart they are racing.
Some one may rent some sort of combo to ya, but then after paying the rent and possible more after tearing it up while learning you wouldn’t have a used kart to sell.
After 25 years of kart racing the last thing I exactly know is what new chassi or even motor package I preferr.
The Rmax is allready perfect for a baby not ready to jump into karting.
You will see the same packages in the front and rear of the pack, with the only diffeances being the tuning and testing experiance of the driver.
What other motorsports competition could you participate in with only
3-4 thousand bucks for start up equipment that has potential to win?
