ParticipantAngie:
Would you please clarify for me the TaG Masters results? I thought I wasn’t on the podium and now the results say I should have
That would be Mike “Prairie Dog” Jansen in the number 27 kart and not the number 4 kart…
And I’m still looking for the bookie who had me at 6-1 odds not completing 20 laps. Where’s my 60?

ParticipantI don’t have an update on Don. I will see what I can find out.
Mike, you should uncheck the box on MyLaps that says sort by class. Some of the guys were running RMax, but they were also scored for Tag Masters. Hope that makes sense.

GREAT!!!
But to be honest, I’d rather have looked at the fans from the top podium rung with a trophy girl around my arm… 8)May 21, 2007 at 9:25 pm #57951Kirk Deason
ParticipantJansen was on the box? Maybe there’s still hope for me. I figured it was a typo or Jansen swapped his transponder with someone else.
Mike, your new tiny head must be more aerodynamic.

ParticipantOh for Pete’s sake. He finishes one stinking race and he wants to be on the podium. You gotta walk before ya can run Mike.

Well, I got plenty of walking from walking in circles the frustration of being in the infield for a few seasons and walking back to the pits… 8)
I saw Angel on the hillside next to the hairpin and could feel his pain watching us.

ParticipantHi Angie,
Do you still award points to drivers who started the race but didn’t take the checkered?

ParticipantYes, If you take the green flag, then you get points!

ParticipantAs much as I hate to say that a fellow karter and good friend did have to go to the hospital Don did suffer a compound fracture to his tibia and is suffering from some holes in his other leg as well as a bunch of wicked scrapes and his back is really hurting him Possible torn muscle. He had his first surgery that evening of the race and will have another on thursday. I went to visit him in the hospital today and he is in good spirits but soar and obviously done karting for the year. They want to stick a metal rod down his entire bone thursday Don is a great guy and came a long way this year unfortunately 2 karts got together and he took a beating. Don will be ok with time. Let this be a lesson to us all make sure you wear all your safety gear Thank GOD he was or he could have easily snapped his neck. Thanks for asking about him I appreciate it and so does he. We have a pretty cool group of racers in colorado and it is good we all look out for each other. Although we can get a little heated sometimes we all have to remember we are doing this for fun.

ParticipantSo glad he is going to recover!
Did not see the incident but did see them loading him into the car. Looks like a big strong guy who was in considerable pain at the time.
Roman, Lucy and Rick are all pulling for a full and speedy recovery Don.
