Does that include your Ferrari undies and jammies?
Drew
Those may be “Game Worn” items, significantly increasing their value Drew.

ParticipantDave,
Try to support your local kart shop. They are the ones that will be able to help you in person, keep you going in a jamb and the prices are not that far off from online purchases.
Plus, it helps to start building a relationship with them.
If they don’t have what you need, I’ve had good results from TS Racing, Acceleration Karting, Fastech Karting for items our local shops don’t have. Just Google the shop name.

ParticipantI’m not in favor of adding a seperate class. Look at the qualifying times and make a decision. We were running up front with the DD2’s earlier this year, in some cases ahead of them. And have run towards the front in the Tag Senior class most of the year, in some cases ahead of them. I think we should look at the bulk of the competitors times and split accordingly. Talk to the pole sitters about the gap you’re going to require and go racing.

ParticipantI have shorts and a cowboy hat, and can look real mean. Also, love taking things apart and not having to put them together!

ParticipantPretty sure there is going to be morre than 2 joining in Shawn. And the Championship is up in the air. We’re cool with a split start or whatever. So we’re not a factor in anyone elses Championship and the’re not a factor in ours. I know Roman has tried to stay out of the way but at Imi with the DD2’s, it was tough. A situation like that would be bad at the last race.
And the field are figuring out the tuning of these motors and are getting faster every race.

ParticipantDennis,
So glad you’re on the mend, also glad your home finally . From one guy (who has a hell of a lot more steel inside his body than he should) to another. What a b1tch having to be out of town and suffer so many significant injuries! I’m just glad you survived, the rest is just time and healing. We were really worried! Made the race we were at when we heard the news (Rotax Gn’s) seem somewhat insignificant and it was a big race for us.
I guess most of us like things that scare us and somewhat know the risks when we engage in competition. But no one really knows the danger till you taste it up close.
I actually have to admit (in some sort of sick way) I miss the cowboy hat strolling around the paddock making my “you know what” pucker and prompting me take another look at our racing machines to make sure they’re legal and safe. Also miss having a cool one after the business part of the day is over.
If “things” have stacked up around the house (vehicle care) or whatever while you’ve been down. There are a whole bunch of us who could assemble a work party and knock some chores out while your healing. Or if Sandy needs anything. I speak for many on this one thing. Tap into your racing friends here if you need them Dennis.

I think it would be more fun going up hill in something with a 1000hp under your right foot? You mean something like this Mikey?

ParticipantDiito! What Larry said.
Great production, camera placement and Mr Wright kept the commentary accurate. And Jim has a pretty “TV” Face.
The Kyle Ray interview was very good too.
Brings our sport to a new level.

ParticipantLooks like a high 49 is possible. Wow! Good work Mark and Ben.

Poorest example I’ve seen to new karters since we’ve started racing this time around! I had a first year racer standing next to me. How do you explain that one? A wide kart is one thing, but come on…Intelligence?

I just gave a proven cheater some of his own medicine and he acted like a whinging baby. Not sure how you’ve shown a proven cheater anything, or if it’s your place to judge “proven cheaters”, or who left you in charge of showing” proven cheaters” anything. To place a racer in danger to show them a lesson, shame on you. Is it your place to sentence a “proven cheater” Mike? I thought you were an ambassador of this sport. I’m a little disappointed.
Again, you should have been rolled or pulled (in my opinion) at the last race. period (in your heart is showing someone a lesson worthy of that?) That “proven cheater” may actually a better sportsman than you. You could have watched the race from the infield… (again). But the “proven cheater” chose to beat you on your own terms, and walk away. But nice example Mike.
Mike Jansen posted: the Oscars are only a few months away
Really, where you just practicing the Oscar performance in Grand Junction last race? Throwing things around your pit is just a part of racing. Right?. A starter not working is worthy of an Oscar tantrum. If any of my team were throwing things around like that. We’d be done racing. period Again, nice example. Can’t believe a racer who came from being an “also ran” last year to a “contender” this year would be so quick to judge those who’ve brought them there. Particularly with some of my components still rolling around on that kart! (?) Whats up with that? It’s going to take more than an “A” game at this point Mike.
If that’s the way it is. After all, Roman is a known cheater (1/2 mm too wide at the Grands?) He certainly is a “proven cheater” who does not have permission to show you a lesson. (your own medicine) But certainly has permission to take you to school. As does Ron, Tom, Jim, Louis, Troy etc.., who may have taken you to school earlier this season. The old “I’ll take being lucky” ain’t going to get her done this time. Don’t forget the spoilers and get cocky yet!
