ParticipantExactly. Next thing you know someone’s going to run Fetzer valves and then everyone will run em…
It’s today’s weather warming talking…
Mike Jansen
Participantdid not know that, thanks Curt

ParticipantJust bump up the price of the registration by 5.00 for those who can’t locate the appropriate plates.
Or Pay 34.95 to SoCal Decals and they’ll make the numbers and the appropriate backgrounds of your choice for all 4 sides of the kart…
Mike Jansen
ParticipantThey didn’t have front brakes and it was over 400 pounds!
Mike Jansen
ParticipantOh, and I wouldn’t be giving me grief Mr Rick.
I saw you last year bending over working on a kart. Nice thong Nancy boy… :idn:
Now you know why I call you my pretty…And if you keep it up I’ll let everyone know you tape Barney and watch him when you get home.
this is Rick in disguise…
Does this ring a bell: I love you, you love me…
your secret’s safe with me though. I won’t tell a sole Rick 8)Mike Jansen
ParticipantI know what Rick’s on…
Beans and tortillas and too small a room to watch the football games.
And Max is dizzy too…
Max told Scooter (through the doggie network) that dad needs to ventilate the room. Or get him a doggie gas mask!😆
and Leave my gun alone…
or say hello to my little friend… 😆Mike Jansen
ParticipantRick;
You really must be working out hard to have guns the size of mine. And yes, they’re natural 8) And no, that’s not my Beretta either…
Like I told Whitney when she was hangin’ with Bobby Brown pre marraige; Crack… is whack… Step away my friend step away…

ParticipantDoug,
I take offense to your comment on Al. He is the inventor of the internet you know 8)
Rich, No Rmax racing for me.

ParticipantNo apologies needed.
I learned how to handle a weapon properly at a young age. My family is from Law Enforcement (FBI)
Any weapon is only as good as the person trained to use it. And no it’s not near my pillow, I agree with your assesment in that.I was violated twice in LA, both burgularies. Enough is enough. As I told the 17 year old who did the first one, “I’ll let you go this time but if I even see you in my yard or my neighbours, this is what you get.” From that point on he walked on the other side of the street (and he lived 2 doors down on my side). It’s called ACTIONS PRODUCE CONSEQUENCES. Something lacking when we coddle…
Freedom’s a great thing isn’t it. Learn to use it and realize it comes at a price.
JJ, point taken…

Maybe Al was right…
An Inconvenient Truth???Mike Jansen
ParticipantFirst of all, any SMART PERSON will tell you through their experience in Demolition Derby that if you’re going to hit something hit it with the back end and not the front. So we’re dealing with idiot criminals.
Secondly, if and when the police dust for prints and get a hit on AFIS give them some money to tell you who it is and i’ll be more than happy to help. I’ve got two clips that hold 13 apiece. We’ll let them re-enact the crime and we’ll play target practice. Crime one, they stole someone else’s Jeep. Crime two, they tried to steal your stuff. They’re habitual and are past rehabilitation. We can call them “stumpy” after we get done. There’s the criminal deterrant that is sorely lacking.
I’m glad you built your shop strong and that they didn’t get anything. Sorry to hear you’ll have to work this weekend to repair their damage.
Tell me when you’ll need my services. I’ve got hollow points now, we could use full metal jackets. It’s your call.I think it’s time Andy gave you more than one bullet Barney. Come see me, I’ve got plenty… :idn:

ParticipantWhat’s 2.5cc’s amongst friends? 8)
Fair is fair as long as they have some FAIR testing data I’ll go along with an increase. I’d like to get back to 210 like I should be. I just don’t want to go from 200 to 210 and then add 20 pounds like it is a boost port engine.
Like Joe Friday said, Just the facts, ma’am.Mike Jansen
ParticipantThat’s why I always wear a helmet boarding. If you’re going to get big air you might want to fall on something that won’t break or hurt 8)
Heal up and we’ll see you soon. Sorry to hear that.
Oh by the way, I’ll be hitting the jumps and half pipe myself. With a better result but only if there’s new snow… 😆Mike Jansen
ParticipantOkay so Kyle Ray kicked arse on a Leapurd two years ago and no weight change. Last year he kicked butt and now you want to put a 10# penalty? And the logic is… :idn:
Gang, look at what the Motori7 was tested and homologated with. If you open your eyes you’ll see it was a free revving engine like a sonic AND IT HAD A 9cc HEAD. It also blew up a lot. The change was a revving engine limited to 15K. Now we go back to the head that it was homologated with and y’all want to add weight? :idn:
Roman kicked everyone’s arse (and so did Sam Walls) in Masters last year. It must be the engine. Same with Kyle Ray. Get your knee jerk, mamby pamby, girlie boyz attitude and utilize it somewhere else, please.
Fact: Motori7 pilots got their lunch handed to them at Greeley. FACT
Fact: At the TaG Nationals in New Castle the hot shoe drivers on Motori7’s changed to Leapurds to be competitive since the 7 wasn’t. FACT
Fact: The local hot shoes on 7’s at the Supernats SWITCHED engines because they weren’t competitive. FACT
Fact: Rick Samu pulled my arse out of the final corner at Bandi last year, each and every lap. FACT
Fact: Roman and Charles on Rotax engines @ IMI have set fastest laps @ IMI. FACTSo there’s my proof that Rotax and Leapurd should have weight added. Don’t confuse getting your arse kicked by a better (more practice, specific practice, better tuning, better chassis adjustment) driver cloud your judgement and knee jerk that it’s the engine. You’re insulting some pretty damned good shoes if you do. Read up, view charts and you can make your own conclusions.
Just don’t insult MY intelligence and say Motori needs a 10# weight penalty because these drivers are not a part of the equasion. If you do I’ll insult yours and say the weight penalties should be what I’ve stated above.

Rick, Great post and I’m man enough to say, I honestly don’t know because I’ve only run fronts on Brad’s vampire one day and the kart wasn’t set up for me.
Curt, Matt hasn’t run in TaG and all I can say is the lines are pretty much the same because momentum plays a HUGE part in it. Sure, you could get down to entry speed but you best have the correct line or you’ll be repassed on exit due to bind and other factors. Seen it many a time in my class and others.
I personally haven’t had a brake failure (knock on wood) but sticking a throttle at Bandimere 3 times had pucker factor! Luckily I didn’t damage anything but my position. Roman’s hard on brakes and we’re the same size weight wise. He’s also been faster than myself (last year only) 8)
The Track in July wasn’t fun and we all had brake issues (see my spiffy ductwork MIKE FRANK rigged and it was much better). I question would we have had the issue with fronts.I don’t know the answer but I DO KNOW that adding weight (IMHO) is a knee jerk reaction. I can’t eat anymore skinless chicken.
I don’t know the answer but if Rotax racers vary with and without and Roman ran at Monaco without (the minority) then there’s something to be said there.
