TAG MASTERS DIVISION?

ParticipantMy son, Jesse Toby is running the Jr Rotax class and will be representing Colorado at the Nationals! Hell, with the grands in our own backyard I’m even thinking of knocking off some of the cobwebs and racing the Masters class. It is a hard choice though with the advent of the new class of the future, 4-stroke tag (with FWB’s I might add).
We haven’t selected which Colorado rmax series we will run. We won’t do so until the local rules and qualifying proceedures are announced. Hopefully that will happen soon.
In our own backyard! How awesome is that!!!

ParticipantRich, I should be running Rotax Masters as well as DD2.
As far as the rules for qualifying, I should post them real soon. Sorry for the delay. The snow has kept me inside that plow working on worthless driving lines all over The Track!
Thanks for the interest,

ParticipantI don’t know about you, but I’ve about had enough of this snow. I love to ski and think its great in the hills, but do I really need this much at my house?

ParticipantJim, if you are going to run two classes at the nationals – you da man. BTW, we, and I’m sure a bunch of unannounced drivers, are going to compete in the Mile High RMAX challenge. It is the least we can do for you bringing the grands to our backyard. We just didn’t want to let you off the hook for those silly rules. Hey, do you have FWB’s on that plow?
Doug, I agree the skiing is good but still I wonder if I will ever see my yard or the track in my backyard. It is especially hard after just coming back from the beaches of Buenos Aires where the temps are in the 90’s and the days are soooo long. BTW, I met the Jr Rotax champion in Buenas Aires. Rotax, and karting in general, is huge in Argentina.
Mike, Global warning? I thought that was just a marketing term for the jet ski and snowmobile industries. A growing playground with more snow in one half of the planet and more water in the other half. Not sure what it means for karters though – maybe karts with studded tires and/or skis.

Maybe Al was right….If it was global warming, I would have beach front property. The temp has been doing nothing but falling. This has been the wettest, coldest winter I’ve seen in a long time.
The only thing Al was right on was that he “won” the election for President.

InactiveIf Roman were to run R-Max we would do it at The Track to get as many laps as possible there. The really good drivers can negate a home track advantage pretty quick but we would want every lap we could get there.

ParticipantI know it may come as a surprise to some but not ALL Colorado karters read this forum. :idn: Of those who do I know some who are not ready to decide whether to run Rmax and, if so, where. CRE has announced its schedule, rules and qualifying proceedures but I don’t think anyone else has yet.

ParticipantThe Mile High Challenge has announced its schedule, Rules are RMax including tires and as far as qualifying for the grands, untill SSC hands out the allocations, its kind of academic. I do know that all MiniMax and DD2 drivers who meet the minimum number of races for the series get to go.
