That is nuts, that schedule is going to split every body up. :bs:

Just like CART and INDY eh? Or make that IKF and STARS and whatever other alphabet soup organization there is…
Let’s see who gives the racers the most bang for the buck and also sponsorship promotion.

    Good Job Roger…

Here’s mine: I wanna be like Mike
    Oh wait, I AM MIKE!!!

    TaG Masters Overall Number 1
Get back to 200 pounds (nekked)
cardio a heck of a lot more to get my resting heart rate back to 50bpm

Go back to my hometown and race in front of friends and family at the RIO next November.

There’s the target. Masters will regain it’s glory as the premier class. Take your best shot…

That’s Slackee to you Mr. Magoo…

I’m not pushing away from any food at the moment and wait till this weekend when i get the half gallon glass bottle of Egg Nogg from the local Dairy. Then I’ll have to start wearing my generous cut pants. And NO amount of exercise will rid the body of Egg Nogg. 8)

    Roger,

Hey I like yours better and I wouldn’t even have to drive to Red Rocks!
Seriously, I’m going to take your workout during the weekday mornings, just a minimal amount of rest is all that is needed or none at all and do another muscle group.

Here’s a good one I do on Wednesday mornings: Jumps. At the gym look for the girls step thingamajigs and start adding underneath till you get to 11-13 levels underneath. Start with 15 jumps and the hgher you go then you drop to 10 jumps. You’ll feel like hurling but then think of the bright side: then you can get that donut at Krispy Kreme 8)

I can’t wait for the season to start. Y’all might want to get in shape to the best of your abilities. Like Roger said being in shape IS part of the equasion. Except for Juan Pablo and Tony Stewart everyone else is in shape and those two aren’t slugs by any means… Oh, that’s right they race NAKKER now…

    Roger,

Here’s my training on Saturdays (weather permitting)
This starts come January (because I’m currently grazing my way to economic recovery!)

½ to 1 mile jog warm up
Stairs to the bottom of Red Rocks Theater
Circuit: pushups, pull-ups, squat thrust, repeat again and again and again and again
    Lung twist across the seats
    Dips, dips and more dips
    Mary Catherine’s, more dips
    Decline pushups, dips
    Mary Catherine’s, more dips
    Jump seat levels eight times
    Run four rows of seat
    Jump seat level eight times
Take your first break…. You get the picture
    Throw up

After you make your way to the top doing the above, proceed to upper body band work for 15 minutes
After band work…20 minute of Plyometrics
    After Plyo…stretch…. Throw Up
Everything was sore Sunday (and today).

The body will be ready and so will the kart… 8)

    SILENCE!!!
    I KEEEEEEEEL YOU!!!

Roger, Last season was Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, a disaster. I enjoyed the time off and I’ll be back in 09 with a vengance. I’ve put on my holiday 5 already (I almost hurled) and another 5 to go before January. But once father time exits on the 31st I’ll be running and testing. I’d love to see you and Falcone get into the fray in Masters.

By the way, It’s spelled JANSEN.
You’ll be seeing that a lot on the back of my suit  :usa:

You may want to remind Jansen (who’s step father is a judge) that listening to that 8 track while needing to concentrate in school could result in some future mis spelling him himself. Honour? Maybe that’s the way a closet French spells it?

french? french? (notice how that word isn’t worthy of capitalizing)
I’ll have you know that being raised in England (my Mom’s home country but now a naturalized citizen of the US of A) and having many relatives still living there I have always spelled it that way. That would be British and not french. Get it straight snapperheads 8)

Now, just because I became a spectator (by my own choice) doesn’t mean I cannot race. In Tony’s case he’s already been put in the “academically ineligible/unable to play” category once. I just don’t want to see him there again.

And for the record, I was sick as a dog as a teenager and was told I wouldn’t be racing that weekend. I defied my parents orders and raced anyway (I used my spare bike that was at the shop 🙂 ). Make a long story short, I had to choose what belt I wanted to be punished with AND i missed the following race and had to polish all the brass candlesticks my mom had the day of the race. So kids, there’s a lesson in there somewhere… :loony:

By the way, I’m a purfect speller… when Scooter’s around

    Your Honour, the prosecution rests…

Or to quote Andrew Dice Clay… CONCENTRATE!!!!
You kids wouldn’t survive in the wilderness or a blackout that’s all I’ll say…
