STOP THE PRESSES….STOP THE PRESSES, My wife made a mistake 😳 , that not finals week after all so that week end looks good for us.

MikeyStacey…..Our kids will be in the middle of finals at school that week, they would miss Friday and Monday, momma won’t buy that. Could it be scheduled after the kids get out of school and before the cowpoke festival? :dance:

MikeyI called the Doubletree and they told me that there wasn’t any discount available thru GJMS. They quoted me a rate of 195.00 per night for 1 guest…..A little steep for my blood. Is another week-end an option, or is this the going rate in Grand Junction during the summer months?

MikeyTyler and I were also there. They “ICE ” put on a good show, I expected to see some Vampires or Oral’s racing but didn’t.
I lobbied the officals to tear Jaybird down but they just waked away…..I told them there creating a monster letting him win, OOOO well I warned em. Tammy and I were visiting after the race and I heard Jay say he was quitting his job and going pro and following the ICE circuit full time. :waveOn a seperate note, we waited in line to buy tickets for 40 minutes. The Budwieser Center gets an “F” grade for there inability to process walk up ticket sales.

Larry……I have a rib vest Jesse can try if he want’s, it’s a Body Armor by track side motorsports. I bought it from RBI and Richard told me after he broke ribs at the SuperNationals one year he wore it the next day and raced pain free.

I was only pooking fun, it wasn’t a full jab…..We all have limited cash so I too feel your pain. With that said, I believe this has all the makings of a great season, but time will tell.
Freeze, I believe there was some talk of a 1 day pass at a reduced rate for racers from out of town or racers who may want to try running a CSC event.
I’m sure all of these questions will be answered soon.

With any luck, you should be able to race at least 1 week-end for what it cost to run the Rotax Grands! 😯

MikeyI’m not sure if the moons were lined up or what but that was way cool. I enjoyed the meeting and talking to everyone. With the attitude that came from that meeting, the sky is the limit for the club, CSC, ect. I’m willing to help anyway I can.
(I’m going to end up in the Betty Ford Center for Karters, O well).
