All………….If you look at my orginal post I was looking for a simple yes or no answer. I really don’t care what anyone else does if you don’t like them I’m ok with that. It your neck but I’m not ok with racing being more important than safety.
Going forward, no more suggestions from Mikey, just print the rules and if I don’t like it then we won’t race it’s that simple.

Well, I’m suprised at some of the theories mentioned as to why or why not but then maybe I shouldn’t be….
Brian, Safety should be priorty 1, if not then why buy a helmet or any other safety gear! This is club racing not Fomula 1!!
I was a believer before I saw Charles wreck at Greeley last year, so with that said, we are looking into one of the new braces and just wanted to make sure it would be OK.
Hopefully you never crash and hurt your neck.

MikeyWell having had serious neck and back injuries from crashing, racing motorcross and cars the pain and recovery time far out way the minor discomfort from wearing a brace. Why in hell Stars would elect not to mandate a piece of safety gear makes no sense. Of course no one said every decision that they have made has always been the right one.

Troy, Thanks for the quick reponse. I’m aware that you and others are working on aquiring additional support and sponsors which is great and thanks for all the effort, but my angle was not to add additional cost to the track owners or the CSC but to cut out those trophys and give track time or other stuff that may cost less.
Flaming????? Just making fun of myself and my ideas (I’m ready with my Nomex suit)
