Rich………How was I a hazard???? I believe Kistler was the hazard, the way he kept short cutting the track to stay up with us. Plus I was 50# heavier than everyone else, at least that’s what I keep telling my kids who just laugh and walk away.

Anyway, A big thank you to Jim and his crew for a job well done!

Angie……….Why on earth did you post the times from the Tuners Race? You must have made a mistake, how could I have been 2-3 seconds slower than my kids?…………I know, it must have been the tires, motor, or maybe Rich was cheating, yea that’s it he’s was cheating, HOT FUEL! I think he should be stripped of his CROWN.

Jeff………Very well said. I believe we should tech our classes like they do in other places, draw a number out of a hat and that number would represent a specific tech item. Example, #1 would be fuel #8 would be cam ect……And that number would be selected at the drivers meeting before the race. This would mean that tech would be performed at every race.

To help out, I would be willing to do tech of other classes other than the ones we run in if I was given proper instruction on what to look for and check.

As for that black flag, well I think if it gets used and everyone knows there going to get it if they try and run over someone that they might think twice!
This should also apply to BLOCKING………

We have all been very luck that no one has been seriously hurt as of yet but our luck is going to run out sometime!!!!!!!!!!

    Just my 2 cents

Hey Dom………Tell your dad to take his skirt off, put on his helmet and get his A$$ down to the track! If Harvick has a problem with that to call me I’ll set him straight! Anyway does anyone know if the rental karts down at the track have hand controls because I need to loose 50 pounds before Friday and my kids suggested that I have my legs removed. Please advise ASAP.

    Thanks

Without dyno tests to compair the motors, we could talk until were blue in the face…………I stated earlier in the year that the last thing these kids need is more speed. I too have new flat heads at home that I thought would be competitive this year until it was determined by someone that the keyway needed to be removed on the animals so they could keep up with the flatheads. I’m still confused about that one, anyway I have the only rototiller on my block that turns 6500 rpm.

We talk about how strong karting is in Colorado but IMHO putting this issue to rest and coming up with a set of rules and living by them will do more for kart racing than any one thing.

Stacey…..What is the mini max rated for horse power? It appeared to have some very long legs on the back straight of your track.

Just my observation from the first points race at your track.

Jim……..You can count Tyler in….He’s #45 in the Junior 1 class.

Would the Junior 2 kids be able to run with the Junior 1? Sense I have one of each I know that question is going to come up in our house.

    Thanks

Thanks for all the input………the little key ring thing looked great, but I’m glad I didn’t order any. We bought 2 from Gotcha last year and I agree they are great.

Freezeman, I agree with you that the classes shouldn’t run together and hopefully that can be corrected. My reaction was based on the responsibility issue and now that you have made your position clearer. I now have a better understanding. It sounded as if the adults were going to be forced to run with the JR-2 class and if a child gets hurt that the adults wouldn’t be responsible…….I hope you can understand where I’m coming from. We as parents worry enough about the kids running into one another. With the two classes running together and there being such a differential in speed and driving ability that’s what’s going to produce these kind of problems. I apologize for my comments….
