How about moving the CSC event at GJMS to May 23-25? Would that work for everyone? please comment…
January 22, 2008 at 6:12 pm #60956Chris WogrinParticipantThat sounds like like a good idea to me.
January 22, 2008 at 7:05 pm #60957Troy SmithParticipantStacey:
That’s Memorial Day Weekend (Monday the 26th is Memorial Day).

January 22, 2008 at 7:13 pm #60958Mike EdwardsParticipantStacey…..Our kids will be in the middle of finals at school that week, they would miss Friday and Monday, momma won’t buy that. Could it be scheduled after the kids get out of school and before the cowpoke festival?
Thanks for trying to flexible
MikeyJanuary 22, 2008 at 7:37 pm #60959Mike EdwardsParticipantSTOP THE PRESSES….STOP THE PRESSES, My wife made a mistake 😳 , that not finals week after all so that week end looks good for us.
Sorry for the confusion my wife has caused, her bad :bs:
MikeyJanuary 22, 2008 at 8:25 pm #60960David WatkinsParticipantWhat about reverting back to the original schedule – June 14th and 15th?
January 22, 2008 at 8:58 pm #60961stacey cookParticipantWe had a personal dilema pop up that week and will be out of State, that was the reason for the change….
January 22, 2008 at 9:41 pm #60962AnonymousInactiveAs posted in the other thread, we will be at a little race that weekend at Indianapolis. If this becomes the date, we will not register for the CSC or run any of the CSC races since we will be out of contention for any shot at the points.
I’m not making any threat or trying to grandstand, just the facts. We are only 1 team with 3 karts so no decision should be made because of 1 team’s situation. If this has to be the date, have fun.
I thought the intent was to not schedule races on holidays so we don’t interfere with family events???
Why can’t we run the GJMS CSC race later in the year… August, September ? The weather is still OK right?
January 22, 2008 at 9:43 pm #60963Jeff FieldParticipantI don’t think memorial day weekend is a good idea, but I’d go if that’s what the plan is.
January 22, 2008 at 10:33 pm #60964David WatkinsParticipantMemorial day seems to be tough for many families and the 14th and 15th are out so what about June 7th and 8th?
January 23, 2008 at 4:12 pm #60965Jim KeeslingParticipantHello,
Due to the lack of rooms in GJ for the CSC Race,
The Dates have been swapped with The Track at Centennial.
For the current schedule, The Track at Centennial will host the first CSC in June, and Grand Junction will host the event in August.
The schedule will be updated shortly.
Thanks,

We were really bumming at the thought of not racing at GJMS. It is a great track and we enjoyed going “over the hill”.
Thanks for thinking of the racers and families.
January 23, 2008 at 4:42 pm #60967Mike EdwardsParticipantThanks Stacey and Jim for working it out.

I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to race CSC since I was going to do the pictorial from Indy again.January 23, 2008 at 5:49 pm #60969Rick SchmidtParticipantTom Jensen is your hero. Isn’t he?
