December 12, 2007 at 1:44 am #60395stacey cookParticipantCan we please make it early.. Say 9:00 or 10:00 am we have to drive back to Grand Junction and with the weather it sure would help if we could get over the passes before dark…
December 12, 2007 at 3:58 pm #60396Curt KistlerParticipantStacey,
Hopefully it will be set up early enough for a relaxing trip home on Sunday for you and the rest of the Western Slope Karters. And hopefully there will be a set adgenda of topics to discuss, and possibly some business decisions that can be hammered out by all the people who will be present. It’s always difficult at best to get anything etched in stone at these meetings, but it’s a great way for some of the experienced karters to speak their mind or give suggestions for the coming season. If it’s pulled off properly the CSC Board can discuss what next season will look like as far as classes, schedule, staff… All of the newbies can see who the players are, and should be able to ask their questions as well.
The bad news is that last years “Seargent At Arms” big Mikey Edwards, has a bad back and will not be able to keep the peace like he did last year. Maybe we can get that lady from Colorado Springs New Life Church to help keep the peace this year. 😆 She sounds like she is a pretty good shot and should be able to contain JB 👿All-in-all, I hope a lot of good stuff comes out of this years meeting. I should be in the back of the room looking a little green with a bag in my hands, so please talk softly… :puke
December 12, 2007 at 4:26 pm #60397stacey cookParticipantCurt,
Lets hope all goes well.. I would really like to hear from everyone what they really would like to do for next year, such as classes, number of races, drops etc… We really do need an agenda.
We have a really good thing here in Colorado with alot of great people, lets keep it constructive and on track …

December 13, 2007 at 12:12 am #60402Doug WelchParticipantI think Sunday is looking like a powder day. Have fun.
December 13, 2007 at 12:15 am #60403Mike EdwardsParticipantI don’t have a dog in the Jr-1 Honda/Comer fight…..I think that should be left up to the racers who run in the class. How about a pole?
As far as the G-1 class, I love to watch them, just wasn’t sure how many there were.
I’ll be glad as alway to help. Come on let’s talk about this!!!!!!!
Don’t wait till March and then want changes, nows the time.
MikeyDecember 13, 2007 at 12:59 am #60404Tony LaPortaParticipantMike, I love the list you made for the CSC. I can agree with practicly everything on that list. (Except the double points race)
For me as only a second year racer,I dont have much of an opinion when it comes to classes. But i really do like the idea of a two day event (except then it will turn it in to a “three” day weekend )as far as other CSC thoughts, I think we need to put a temp course race in the schedule, Im not saying it has to be GGP, i raced at the littelton race and that was a great event. (im just wondering that scence that took place during the rotax grands, would it be the same conflict next year. Date change for littelton maybe??)
Im pro greeley too, as long as its a points race.
All these CSC ideas are important, but we can not forget about the club series. we need to throw around ideas for the Club series the same way we are for the csc.My .02 cents
