Guy’s………Having run both classes in the past, at 265# the Jr-2’s were 3-4 seconds a lap slower than the Jr-1 with the same motor package. Sydney got bored real fast running the Jr-2 so for those that are moving up from Jr-1 be careful what you ask for. I hope your able to upgrade the motors to offset the additional weight.

MikeyWhen Tyler and I when to Charlotte last fall, we got to go to Kevin Harvick’s house with the Carelli’s to watch the ARCA race. We saw his paved oval go kart track he has on his property that they race on. Kevin talked to Tyler about racing karts, he was very nice.
P.S. Dominic Carelli races with the likes of Clint Bowyer, Carl Edwards, and other NASCAR racers….How cool would that be? Rick builds a lot of the animal motors that are used. Yes they run BRIGGS stuff nothing fancy.

He’ll get some “on the job training” come Sunday. Things are not as easy as they look for JPM, wait till SMOKE gets on his back bumper and loosens him up a bit going into turn 1.

Larry……..Please feel free to jump in, we will not be running or attending many if any of the CSC races because of other things going on this summer. I will be glad to help in any way I can. I had not notified anyone of this yet because we were still trying to work out the details. It looks like we maybe racing the IMI/The Track series if time allows. If you still want to assume the role than I would still be willing to help if needed.

Mike EdwardsMaybe I missed something along the way….. but, I’m not sure of the reasons why karts don’t have 4 wheel brakes anyway but if you look at the bigger picture, almost any racecar you get in after go karts is going to have some type of brake biasing adjustment and now is the time to learn how to adjust them. I believe any kart, Tag Jr and up should have 4 wheel brakes if all you look at is the safety perspective just because of the increased speeds. So if someone could please explain why they don’t other than cost…. :idn:
