ParticipantI think its a great idea Jim. You and your crew did a fantastic job keeping everyone on scheduled. I enjoyed the large field and hairy start :green as it was a great experience for me. However being separate classes and with the Nationals in mind I support the split.

ParticipantDido JJ. It was some great racing and I learned some very valuable lessons.
See you at IMI for Saturday Practice, before the race, I have to spend some quality time with the Family this coming weekend if I want to continue racing 😆

ParticipantMike,
There is a freeware called “Avatar Sizer” that makes any picture an Avatar of any size. Go to http://www.jql.co.uk/avatarsizer.htm and download it :type:
This will do the trick. If still need help, PM me.

ParticipantThank you for the nice words Rick.
We had a blast, and you are right once the visor is down its all or nothing… However we had a long discussion about the incident…. :crash
Our team looks great, the karts were driving well and most important we had a blast. Even Luis with a bad rib injury was so in to it that he raced the whole thing…. (He is paying for it now 😆 )We appreciate the support and great comments we received from other drivers, we are still learning and willing to hear feedback and apply new concepts, such as better race lines (Mr. Mike Jansen)
My Family had a great time, my little one even dressed up with the Nascar suit, my oldest one wants to practice a few laps this coming weekend and my wife is going to give it a try as well…. no bad.Great to see you also at the track and even better yet knowing you are back on the game.
Until Next time!
(time to change my avatar for the new look)

ParticipantFor a me as a Colombian its always a true pleasure to watch Juan Pablo show his talent. My Family in Colombia told me the whole country stopped to watch the race. and of course to celebrate!
I could not believe the incident at the pits stop… and he was able to make it from 19th to 1st …..
I also agree that Nascar should have more of this road races…. lots of fun I am not to much in to the whole oval racing, but certainly those V8 in a road course are lot of fun to watch!

ParticipantThe cable should have a round end and a USB end.
The round end goes in the lower part of the MYCHRON in the center. There is a plastic cover with the letters AIM once you pull the plastic flap you will see the connector for the round end of the cable.
The other end connects to your Laptop USB to download the data to your Laptop.Go to http://www.aimsports.com/ and download the race studio version for the Mychron 3.
Good Luck. :rotate:

ParticipantLong story short… at Greeley I lost my brakes at the main straightway as I was approaching turn 1 (going pretty fast) … hit the barrier hard, missed hitting Ian by a few feet and could have been worst….Therefore I see front brakes not as an advantage but as a safety measure… Thats All.

ParticipantNo need to get expensive stuff, mounting tires is just something you will be able to learn by looking at others do and by asking. Everyone has their own style and trick, you will come up with yours and get your own technique by the time you have mounted your 3rd set…
Looking forward to seeing you at the track

ParticipantDave,
This will be my 3rd season racing and something that I have always enjoy is being at the Pits and getting all of my questions answered by fellow racers and track owners… Almost impossible to get it all of the knowledge packed in some text books since most of the work has to be done by you “The Driver”
Yes a teacher could improve the learning curb… if you have the $$$ to afford it. However remember The golden rule: Ask,ask and never be afraid of asking againGood Luck and welcome to the best club there is “The Colorado Karters”

ParticipantWell, you are not alone in the recovery room…..
Last December 22 trying to get my family out after two heavy snowy days, my SUV got stocked in the snow and while I was trying to get the snow clear from under it, lost my balance an fell, over stretching my left arm? causing a 2nd degree dislocation to my shoulder?. Needless to say with all of the snow and the messy roads, it took me 1 hour to get to the E.R and another 2 hours for the Doctors at the E.R put the shoulder back in place as they were slammed ? :ambulance (This is my wife driving me to the ER I was doing the screaming to make it sound like a real ambulance)Get well Kirk… would you be attending the meeting?
Do you need a ride? Let me know.edupin
