ParticipantI kind of agree with Rich Vito, more explanation and talks need to be given to us “the newbies” Race line concepts that might not be obvious for some etc.
I was watching the whole thing when it happened and I think it was a race incident, cuased or not by a newbie is not the real issue, (it happened to experience drivers in the HEAT ) The issue here is what happend between Mr. Pierce’s PIT crew and and Allee’s father. The profanity of both parties, the agresiveness of both Parties etc. I have two Daughters and I am very protective as well… but we are all adults!I do not know if the Race Director called the drivers and get things straight as soon as they got back to the pits, but it was obvious that there were more things to be said or explained.
Now the question that remains is:
What is IMI going to do next time there is a similar accident? or a similar Incident?edupin
ParticipantTHank you…

ParticipantI spent some time last year trying to get an undestanding about the Karting community and what it would take to get in to the sport.
Everyone (Racers) are great, for most of us Racing is a Sport, however when it comes to Track Owners, their perpective changes as this is a business and there seems to be a lack on consistency between making the events succesful and maintaning the profit center operational. Therefore Getting some consistency across the board is great, but we need to understand what are the options, what is the difference between SKUSA and STARS or WKF and IKF. What are they bringing to the table to make CSC better.

ParticipantI have found a great deal of items on e-bay (brand new and excellent $$$$) however I want to be sure I am complying with the rules.
What are the ratings for the helmet?
What about the racing suit? Anything I should be asking for when buying it?
What about the gloves and shoes, etc?
Thank you for your feed back.

ParticipantSorry to hear that. I hope you will be able to recover well, even though you might not return to Karting. One good alternative for you to continue enjoying the driving is to try a PC Racing Simulation. If you are interested I do have some very good alternatives, very real, most of the real phisycs and with a good stearing wheel it makes it really interesting, plus there is a large online racing community that makes it even more interesting as you race with people from all over the world.
E-mail me if you are interested and I will be more than happy to chat with you.Get well soon and best of luck.
