Yes, Good Luck to all our Racers. We watched Gary Carlton back in 07 at the WKA Spring Nationals in Jacksonville. At that time, he was driving for Top Kart. The guy simply dominated the shifter field. We all knew then he was going to be a special talent..

    Some thoughts:

In a perfect world, a state wide series like the old CSC.. However, when I was with PPKRC and we were trying to bring everyone together for that purpose, many told me/us we can’t go back to the future…. 😆

Jordan’s got it correct, Unity! Going forward the future is with new people, with new ideas and a more effective way to support and promote the sport to the masses. Bottomline, entry level karting remains the key to keeping karting alive and well.

2015: Looks like the Rotax racing will remain strong with local, regional and national support. Additionally, entry level karting with the LO206 should continue to show significant interest and increase in numbers.

Just for me, I had more fun karting the LO206 this year than in many.

    NO worries Leo.

Agree on David’s point of rough driving. Not talking about incidental contact from hard racing.

Punting, brake checking and/or turning into someone when along side to pass needs to stop. We don’t need tore up equipment, or worse, someone getting hurt. We can race hard and still be respectful. That’s all I’m saying on this topic.

Agree with Jon…. Had a good battle for third in the main with David Watkins, him getting the advantage at the bus stop and me getting back by in turn 1. Lost track but we made probably 4 passes on one another in the last 3 laps. Haven’t had that much fun since 07 MHC in TAG Master. Refreshing to see and have the opportunity to compete in this kind of racing again. Until next time.

Many thanks to Jim and all at The Track for putting on such a safe and fun day of racing……..

    Hello Leo

The 35 pitch drive gear/chain/sprockets seem to work well with the 360lb minimum weight requirement for the Master Class in LO206. Additionally, appears the Max-Torque “Draggin Skin” clutch seems to be a good durable clutch as well. AS far as axle size, it’s negligible, due to axle stiffness and chassis, doesn’t seem to be an advantage either way due to the lower H.P. of the 206.

Check with Jim (The Track) and Zac (PPKRC Pres.) to verify what the specific rules will be for each respective series.

Don’t profess to be a subject matter expert on this stuff, so chime in all for more input. I would think all would want to keep it as close to spec. in accordance with the Briggs LO206 rules and regulations. :read

The cool thing is we purchased a used 2006 Arrow AX8 30/32 CIK Chassis for $500.00 during the off season and put a 206 on it and total cost with Duro tires was just under $1500.00

    Hope that helps.
