ParticipantYeah, that’s pretty awesome! This is pretty much the top level of the sport, so competing there is a pretty big deal. Don’t forget Christian Schureman as the other Coloradan competing this weekend.
Good luck, guys! Eager to hear the results. :co :usa:

ParticipantYes, Good Luck to all our Racers. We watched Gary Carlton back in 07 at the WKA Spring Nationals in Jacksonville. At that time, he was driving for Top Kart. The guy simply dominated the shifter field. We all knew then he was going to be a special talent..
USA! USA! USA!

ParticipantHi Everyone,
Thanks for following, it has been a crazy week. Sabre’ and Joey have been trying to adjust to the track, motors and especially the tires!! Joey has really picked up the pace and finished 16th with Sabre’ 52nd out of 109 drivers. They are only separated by 3 tenths however that caused Sabre’ 36 places. It is an incredible experience and the track is truly incredible and very long! Tires are the biggest issue for the drivers, they are worse than Mojo but are on karts with 50+ horsepower.
I will try and update tomorrow if possible. Joey starts the heats in row 3, Sabre’ in row 9 so it should be exciting.
Have a good night.

ParticipantTough and crazy day today! Started off really well as Sabre’ stormed up to 12th in heat 1 and Joey ran to 5th in his opening heat race. The 2nd heat Sabre’ was not as lucky, she got a great start and by turn 8 was up to 11th only to get taken out by a crazy Italian 🙂 she restarted at the back of the field and raced up to 19th when a red flag was thrown for a cameraman that was hit. However they did not count the last 4 drivers she passed on the red flag lap so she finished 23rd. Heat 3 She again got a good start and moved up the field however she got shuffled back at the end fighting for position ending up 17th. Heat 4 was crazy as she had another good start but was totally run over and taken out by another driver. He actually took 6 total with him on a crazy move. This one hurt as you desperately have to score points each heat. Heat 5 she got another incredible start and battled hard to finish 14th however she was penalized 10 positions for moving on the start which put her in 25th position and a huge loss of crucial points. Luckily even with the penalty she made it the show on Sunday. Now it’s time for some reat and a new day.
Joey Wimsett, Sabre’s CRG USA teammate has been very impressive! finishing 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th and 4th to start tomorrow in 7th position. He is making us Americans very proud. Joey also finished 2nd last year in the Rotax World finals in DD2.
More to follow tomorrow.
