I’ve got some parts that may work on your DFM as well. Seats, seat struts, wheels, Scribner side pods, metal bumpers and more. If you’re going to Unser for the KRFH’s event 23Feb. I can bring the stuff for you to check out.

Let us know what you need?

    All

Interested, however, not committing until a class structure with legit rules has been defined. I’ve already heard that some series and tracks may not be running the same rules, tires, fuel, oil and weights.

Humbly suggest running the same rules as they are running at the FWT. If I’m not mistaken, believe they are running Briggs 206 pure rules on the engine package, which is box stock, spec. green air filter, Redline 20WT oil, RLV 206 exhaust kit and pump gas. I believe the tires are MG Reds or similar compound Bridgestones, (5×6 vice 7.10 rear wheels). Weights 340lbs Senior and 360lbs Master. Oh, by the way, CJKC runs the Max-Torque Draggin Skin clutch. May want to consider a spec. clutch as well.

My 2 cents. Good Luck Richard………………..

Maybe the 206 at The Track and the open class (bracket thing) with the CJKC. I don’t know. I’m open to anything. Guess we won’t know for sure until something definitive is put out from the tracks/clubs etc.

Good Points Jon. Hope Jim and the crew at The Track can pull off the 206 thing, If WE ALL support IT……………….. IMHO, it will happen.

We are being told that the 206 class being considered for running at The Track this season is just that, a 206 only engine package exclusive class.

No worries Rodney. If Greg and Richard bring the Clones back this year maybe we can get some 206’s or other 4cycles on track with them as well. WKA Gold Cup (Pro Gas Animal) is getting lots of support and without question the most affordable and fun way to promote and grow karting in the U.S. Having raced Flat heads back east for 2 years, we learned early on it was economical and really fun, big fields and some very tight racing. Good topic and cool thread/discussion on 4cycle.com. As you and others may know, WKA/IKF and TAG USA (local option rules) all have 4cycle complete class structures and rules if needed. I’d be in favor of the run what you brung just to manage cost and keep it simple. We would obviously want all karts safety checked though.

Happy New Year to you and All,

Like your idea Rodney. If fact, I’ve been having some conversations with Zak (new PPKRC Pres.) about that very subject focusing on Clones/Animals/206’s and World Formula engine packages all running together. If the CJKC invites us back in 2014 we could give it a try. We know a couple folks here in the Springs that may be interested in running a 206, both ran TAG last year.

Would like to encourage a broader conversation on the topic at some point to find out the true interest level, before I personally spend the money to field a 206 or something similar next year.

    Happy New Year,

    Congrats Zac

You count on me to show up and support club racing in 2014. Thank you Roger and all in PPKRC for all you have done to promote Family Kart Racing the last 3 years.
