    206’rs and All

We’re out of state (Louisiana) visiting grand kids. Happy to hear you all had a great time.

We’ll be back before the next race.

    Until then, Take Care!

Eddy, we missed you. 27 folks on the track and over a 100 racers was so much fun.

    Leo,
Once everyone figures out how to keep the chain on there might be trouble in paradise?

    Jim,
Roman, Rod and Norbert had such a great time mixing it up. Brutal racing like old times! We had a clutch come loose ending our day but had a blast. Rod pulled a near quarter century old chassis out and made a hell of a respectable showing against some late model equipment (at least his knees were below his shoulders)! Were calling out to some former racing studs. Jansen (we need that familiar face sitting in the infield) Gunter, Mark, Charles (it would be worth a 10 hour drive Charles and for what it’s worth we’ll share anything we’ve learned so far) there are many others that have a chassis sitting in the garage, get it out. Were going to run our tires till you can see through them, some can replace every race or so if they desire but in the spirit of this racing well stretch it out too.

No one is going to catch Scott’s thousands of laps, this is his era, we had ours, others will have theirs. BUT it would still be fun to get some of the racers back out again for some fun racing. What say you guys? Break out your junk and come find a pack – laugh your a$$ off with your helmet on? The fans will love it!

    Thanks Jim!

And here we go, here’s my full onboard from the crazy first heat race.

I had a pretty poor qualifying and opening lap, but man was the racing fun! Lovin it. And check out Rods aforementioned 25 year old chassis…you should be able to pick it out, that thing is pure old school cool.

First time I’ve been in a race kart in about 5 years, lots of fun, and I got some good screen time on your video Jon (I’m in the 323 kart). When I came back from the race, Greg Welch asked who I was rubbing with (I had a little bit of white on my right rear. I told him I didn’t know, I see on the video it was a little rubbing with Jim K. Anyway lots of fun for sure, and the racing seemed quite clean. Thanks for posting the video.

    Great video!

I’m out of action for a while but really looking forward to racing 206 in a month or so. Hope someone didn’t steal my number (12) but it looked like there was a 12 on the video.

Nice racing and how it should be, make a mistake you get passed, race clean and you move ahead. Does put the pressure on for qualifying well. Looking forward to racing with the 206 crowd.

BTW how many were in the different categories, Light, Med, Heavy?
