Participantwhy can’t the CSC be a trend setter? No matter how it ends up the rest of the season someone will have a problem.
Here is a solution:
Run it like the British, German, or European touring car series. It seems very simple. We all have to take weight on and off depending what scales we are on so we are used to this. The fast guys get weight penalties and the slow guys get weight reductions. How easy is that????
Why don’t we try it??
Jim you are the SKUSA director make it happen 😀 Since the CSC was called the “outlaw series” let’s be the pilot program. I for one think it would great. The racing would be tight. I bet it would catch on and relieve all the moaning and bitching. No matter what the better drivers and tuners will prevail as always.

Participanthow many of you have driven a new TX sonik and another TAG setup this year? I have actually raced both this year and would like to add my two cents to this discussion.
At Bandimere it was really fast, outside pole, and last weekend at IMI I was off the qualifying pace by 2 seconds on the sonik TX in the TAG sr class. In the TAG master class at Bandimere I was on the outside pole again but with the Rotax. I did not run the Rotax at IMI, but last year I was on pole with bridgestones YGK’s and my times were faster than the sonik in TAG sr this year.
Everyone knows each engine is strong at given tracks. Doug Welch and I had this exact conversation on Sunday at IMI. Just look at last weekend at IMI, Rotax dominated the show. If Roman would have gotten a better start he would have been fighting for first with Charles. I believe that adding 30lbs to the Sonik was a knee jerk reaction to events that occurred on the East Coast and at New Castle.
The addition of 30lbs to the sonik TX was not a good decision by TAGUSA

My mistake what I meant to type was swapping TAG Mini Max/ Jr 1 4 cycle and TAG master. That way you would have K3/K2 and TAG Mini max/ Jr1 4cycle between TAG Sr and TAG Master. If that can’t be done, then I am glad we are at IMI.

ParticipantLooks like it will be Sunday for me. The weather looks like it will be crappy tomorrow and nice again on Sunday.
Hopefully, the track (not to confuse that with the phantom track at Centennial 😯 😆 ) will be running clockwise like race day on the 19th.

Sorry to hear that. Someone stole my max jet palm/weather station right out of my trailer on Saturday. $300 down the drain. The mother’s day gods were against me all weekend. I believe my wife put a curse on me for not being with her on Mother’s day 😯
