Tom, my understanding after talking to Rodney Berryhill who helped with the testing at his track in Oklahoma was that they ran both Dyno tests and actual on track tests comparing each motor to the other in the same chassis type.Rodneys phone # is 405-579-5278 maybe he could shed some light on the subject so we can put an end to it.

Brad, if you feel comfortable with SKUSA’s decision lets just follow their lead. They have to much at stake to let that get sideways don’t you think. Vortex ROK and Rotax 335lbs 😆

How about we all compromise! SKUSA and TAG rules + 10 lbs and let the MG yellows run with YHB’s. There it is settled now I feel better 😆

Mesa County has just informed us that the new rules for the CSC series will be as follows:
Each competitor will be required to run a bridgestone on the left front only! MG on the right front,Vega on right rear and a Continential on the left rear.
weights will be blue karts 185lbs,yellow karts 560 lbs, red karts 99.25 lbs all others will run at a minimum of 1,000 lbs.
Blue karts can only turn left on Sunday and every other Thursday.
red karts can only turn right on Sunday and every other Thursday.
all other karts can not turn at all. any questions?

Graeme, we are in favor of running the MG yellows. I talked to all the tire suppliers about the different tires and they shoed me a CIK homologation chart that had the MG yellows listed as a medium tire just like the YHBs. I will tlak to Brad and JB and see what they think. The costs for racers has got to be made affordable and this is one way to do that.

Bill, what was that? have Kyle come over and give us another whipping?LOL we now have someone to keep all you Eastern Slopers from picking on us West Slope trash 😛 AJ should keep most of you in line and hopefully chasing him around will make all of us a little faster over here. See you in March.

Looks like we are the new Vortex Rok Dealer in Colorado. We are at the KMI show and after looking at all the TAG packages think this is the best choice for us. If anyone has any interest let me know as we are bringing new motor packages back with us for a complete test. Also lets go with the SKUSA and TAG weights and call it good. Stacey

Mike, yes you can run the 4-hole airbox at GJMS, only when it is SKUSA sanctioned will we require know more than a 3-hole with 29mm tubes. You can also plug one hole like you mentioned. See you at the races. Stacey

Bill, I would be ok with him running a restricted 80, we will have a few 60s this year but the restricted 80 does make sense and maybe it would open up more kids that aren’t ready to jump inot the 80 Jr class.

Graeme you have my vote. Tires are the worst thing for a dealer. There is very little profit if any in tire sales but you have to stock them. If all organizations had an open tire rule maybe tire prices would come down.

JB, There is myself, Darren Cook, Butch Norris, Mike Cunningham, Mike Adcock, Doug Swann and Dave Anderson over here. They have all been wanting us to lower the weight to 395 for all club events. It would make it a whole lot easier if we followed SKUSA for us because we are piggybacking some of our events with SKUSA regionals. We tried to get over the mountain for the meeting but Glenwood canyon got shut down.
