Charles, yes we will have VP available.. everyone will be required to buy 4 gal. with a bottle of oil on Sat. kids karts will be 2 gal. If you are pre-entered you will pick up you packet with wrist bands (for both days), tech sheet etc ready to go.. Everyone will need to sign the Insurance releases but it should be quick and clean..
Rich, I agree.. anyone that has any questions about race procedures, flags etc. please get one of our handouts when you come over next weekend.. I think everyone should review it just for a refresher and all the kids should especially get one and have their parents go over it with them..
Curt, bring it on. 😆 count GJMS in and let us know what time and who all is playing.. If someone needs a team maybe we will have room for 1 maybe 2..
Kirk, it was not one of the Mini Max’s it was on of the Jr 1 kids.. We completely agree and Safety should be #1 on our list, after the crashes in Grand Junction I put together a handout that explains all the flags and what the kids (and adults should do when they receive one. We have them at the front counter at the track and now and also started having a class the Saturday before each club race for for new racers or anyone that wants to attend to go thru the race proceedures and what flags mean and what to do if you receive a red, blue, black etc… I hope you and your daughter aren’t discouraged and will consider a second look.
Curt, we have had the same problem with the KG airbox, we have added a rubber seal that seems to keep the debris and dirt out, the airbox works great after that. Were not sure if it is legal but will try and get and answer and let you know..
