ParticipantBlink,
There you go again……gloating about medocrity.
Once again you’ve clearly told the karting community what comes first at ” If Moneys Involved” Motorsports. The public giveth and the public is taking it away………
So much for diplomacy……….May 24, 2005 at 5:25 pm #50740Brad Linkus
ParticipantWhat comes first is a viable business that can pay the bills which allows me to constantly improve the facility, maintain the track, pay 10 full time and 32 part time employees, put on quality races, and provide the karters with the largest selection of karting products and services. I am not ashamed to make a profit, and I charge less than you do for anything you sell. I can?t wait for you to throw in the towel so I can buy your track for 10 cents on the dollar and go down there and make some MONEY!! You have not figured it out yet George, it takes money to run a real business. You also have not figured out that your anal attitude is driving your customers to other tracks like mine, thanks for the business, and keep up the good work.

ParticipantJed Clampet, or Ralf , Robert, Roger, or Rupert Reed?R????
First of all I have had other posts regarding owning them. That part was not specifically addressed to you. But if thats all it took to push your buttons makes me wonder. Not willing to address something on the forum but will resort to name calling? Shows a real sense of moral character and intelligence. By the way I go by my middle name Derick “Brian” Moore. I sign all of my posts as Brian Moore, but you will notice a Derick below that. I own everthing I am willing to put on this or any other site. I get tired of hearing all the back stabbing at the track and the allegations people make about others without talking to that person and or persons. If you don’t know me ask around others will for sure point me out. Come up introduce yourself. I am the father of Brandon #77 comer 80, and novice shifter. I will be at the races on the 19th of June. I also don’t just put my opinions and thoughts on here. I do it at the track as well ask around.

ParticipantBob,
Now that you’ve established that you are really a stand up kind of guy……..as Paul Harvey would say ” Now here is the rest of the story……
You, your son Ron and I believe it was your daughter were all cordially welcomed and treated fairly at the one Rotax Challenge event that you attended at CRE. As you might remember you unfortunately brought a TaG prepared Rotax to compete in the Challenge event which must be run separately from other classes. I was surprised at your engine preparation given the fact that your sponsor was a Rotax distributor. Not having any other TaG class competitors entered, we placed Ron in a mixed class of shifters for the experience and recognized him after the event as our first TaG class competitor. I complimented you on Ron’s ability and told you that he would be competitive in the RMC Challenge if you would bring his engine back to RMC specs. We enjoyed having you folks visit with us and looked forward to Ron competing in the Rotax Challenge, once again given the fact that your sponsor was a Rotax distributor. Unfortunately, I’ve only seen you briefly one time since that visit.
As to your WKA membership; you didn’t complete the application, Ron didn’t sign the releases and you didn’t pay the annual membership fee to WKA or for Ron’s RMC membership. Ron was entered as a day member, at CRE’s expense, in the WKA race recap.
A stand up kind of guy would have either called or dropped an email regarding their WKA membership and what mechanical requirements were necessary to compete in the Rotax Challenge or regarding any complaints that they had rather than spread scurilous lies and gossip about they way they were treated and cheated at CRE. Lies and cheap gossip never resolves a persons issues.
EVERY competitor and this includes good ole JB, have entered the gates at CRE have been cordially welcomed, treated respectfully, honestly and fairly until they’ve shown themselves to be dishonest, untrustworthy or unable to relate with the membership or the established rules and regulations……unfortunately there have been a few over the years. As a track owner and promoter I want every competitor to have a good time, in a safe and honest program with the opportunity to achieve their personal best in the sport.
Unfortunately lies and gossip become perception and perception becomes the truth to those who aren’t willing to investiagte for themselves. CRE openly welcomes ALL that drive through our gates to play or compete.
Bob……as a stand up kind of guy,I’m sure you can understand the harm of empty lies and gossip. If you ever have any questions or concerns please call 719-749-9840 or drop me an email at [email protected]. This invitation stands for any others who may have a misconception as to the program at CRE.
You and your family are always cordially welcomed at CRE Motorsports.May 26, 2005 at 9:53 pm #50750Anonymous
InactiveI guess the bickering never stops. I might as well throw my 2 cents into the fire, even though I no longer have any vested interest in Colorado karting, it still is in the back of my mind daily.
CRE is a very good technical track that is run by the book. George, like him or hate him, does not put up with shit from anybody…which includes the regulars at his track. He is the only owner that has a tech session that truly is tech. I’ve only raced there 1 time, but the time that I was down there we were treated with respect and George did everything within his power to make it run smoothly. Tech truly was tech and karts were DQ’ed with varying infractions. It’s good to see that there still are places to compete and be fair.
IMI is the 2nd best track in the state, unfortunatley it’s owned by a jackass. I’ve had several dealings with Brad and each time was bent over and no vaseline was used. Tech sucks and racing was not fair due to his relationship with Beeeland. ***remember when a Biland came in 20 pounds under weight at scales only to be quickly ushered away and no penalty issued**** Wouldn’t trust him with a $3 bill. AND PLEASE DO NOT STATE THAT YOUR TROPHIES ARE BETTER THAN EVERYBODY ELSE’S…I HAVE A 4 FOOT TROPHY FROM GJMS THAT DWARFS YOUR P.O.S. TROPHY.
Grand Junction – EASILY the best track in the state. Very fast and fun to drive with great high speed sections and technical corners. The smoothest track in the state and easy on equipment. Too bad it is on the western slope or would have many more competitors…..and the ownership is top notch.
Bandi – raced there twice, have neither good or bad things to say about the track. Had no dealings with JB or staff. Track is rougher than all get out (or was 2 years ago).
Bottom line: Colorado karting is as fragmented as it comes across the country, but is still a great place to race due to the CSC…without the CSC I highly doubt there would be any real turnouts at the events to speak of.
I hope I’ve offended those that I intended to and shed a little more light on those that care.

ParticipantGirls Girls Girls!
Like Rodney King said years ago and it still applies (and for you too young to remember) “Can’t we just all get along?!”
🙁
I didn’t know that this was a Whining forum. If I wasn’t leaving for the Indy 500 tonight I’d get a few “DEPENDS” and pass them around. You know, good for a few … well you know…
:peace :soap
This is all ancient history. Let it go. Like a dead horse, the more you kick it the more it starts to smell…
Next you’ll all want to dicuss the Kennedy Assasination Conspiracy…
I’ll plagarize (But not claim I am an Indian like that idiot up in Boulder who shames the name Churchill) a gentleman in California… “If I gave you all a solid gold go kart, half of you would complain about the color!”May 27, 2005 at 12:04 am #50752jedclampet
ParticipantGeorge the only change was the air box(stock was in my possesion) I dont know who she was but she took my $60 for the WKA and thats no BS.

ParticipantGeorge,
Who are you trying to con now? Hopefully not somebody that will be suckered in by the poor ol George stories. Like the one I personally remember best. ” I am just a poor man with a dream”. I know that you are a great con man, and seem to be able to convince people that you are a good guy. With a few even being very generous with there money. Some of us have seen the light and know the truth. I will say that you do have a wonderful track to drive, and practice on. If there was one thing I would change about the past is my son would have never raced at your track!! Just gone out and practiced. It was great seat time. I see that you have great turnover at your track and its not hard to figure out why. How many of the people that raced out there when Brandon did are still there, and racing on a regular basis?
Brian Moore,
Father of Brandon #77 comer 80 and novice shifterP.S. You need to go to Georges track more than once to see the real George. I too initially thought he was trying to support go karting and fair competition. It was after my son started racing that I realized he was trying to start a kingdom. Getting people to follow and put the king on a pedestal.
