    Kirk,

We played strip poker last time she was here. I’ll just leave it at that. 8)

Although her boyfriend kept calling me to find out what happened since all she could do was toss and turn saying my name at nights…
Between you and me, she asked me to go to Indy since she didn’t want her heart broke again.
I just call it like I sees it.
It looks like it’ll be a great race y’all have fun; Rick stay away from the beer garden…

If we want to qualify on Saturday’s then let’s join the pro moto tour. CSC isn’t the pro moto tour, IRL/STARS, SKUSA etc…

Some of us have to work to support our habit, last time I looked I didn’t have a Sugar Momma…

    Rich,

I’d love to tell you what happened in TaG Masters but when you’re 2.5 SECONDS off pace per lap your main worry is NOT to get thrown the blue flag!!!
We got red flagged since there was a pile up in the first corner from (?) rows 2-4. Restart looked clean. Sam Walls was chased by Roman and that was that. You could have smoked a cigar between Sam’s finish and mine.
At least I finished all 30 laps of competition so I’ve got that working for me.
I’ve got to check my Fetzer valve to see if that was the problem. It’s all about ball bearings nowadays… 8)

Hey sticky and others talkign about rain racing I present this: If you think you’ll be good by racing others in the rain I agree ONLY TO A CERTAIN POINT. If you want the experience then get yer butts to the local tracks when its raining. You’ll be one of the few there and you can learn the different lines braking points etc. I do NOT buy into the fact that racing at a CSC level in the rain is going to make you good. PUT DOWN THE CRACK PIPE AND FACE REALITY!!! That said, racing in the rain would be good. Wanna get good at it then treat it like you do any other condition: Do it during practice with seat time. Like I said, it rains here enough for us to get this time in, doesn’t it?

    Nothing new here:

racing = $$$ and lots of it
to be fast = $$$ to practice and lots of it

Nothing that we didn’t already know but I’ll throw in another good one:

    1 tequila, 2 tequila, 3 tequila, floor…

    Michael:

I’ll give you a brief synopsis of all the late moves and such (and please forgive me if I’m wrong – I’m just callin’ it like I saw it)

TaG Senior: Kyle Ray and (?) Mitch Cobb had a nice battle for P1 and a dive on the inside in the first few laps put them both off track and towards the back (about 20 seconds off the lead). Both battled back to the front and Kyle passed Julie J in the last two laps to take P1. Heck of a comeback!

ICC Pro: Going into the first two corners the field was two abreast in both corners and one of the Snyder boyz flipped his kart and brought out the ambulance and a red flag. The restart was uneventful and Lorenzo checked out (smooooooooooooth) but Kyle Ray came through the “esses” and hopped a curb, got off line, off track and dug a wheel into the ground from the P2 position and flipped his kart. Kyle’s a little bruised but okay.

Spec Honda: Roger Bonham was in the lead for all 15 laps and in the last corner onto the straight came up on a back marker, took to the inside and his competition went to the outside. Roger was balked and lost P1 by half a kart length (see Mikka Hakkinnen vs. Michael Schumacher at Spa in ?99 and you’ll get the gist)

Mini Max was awesome to watch as the class was bumper to bumper with a little bit of rubbin, bumpin and passin all the way to the end! Dem kids can drive!

There was one driver who kept jumping the curbs in the “esses” and his rear wheel studs sheared off. It was amazing watching that tire haul all the way to the first corner and not hit anyone, more amazing watching the kart do a few 360’s in the dirt. Quite entertaining!!!

That’s all I can tell ya. I was in the pits working on my kart the rest of the time!

BTW… There was a REAL GOOD race in the pits to drink COLD beer after saturday’s practice and race. That was the best race of all. In fact the beer too cold and some got cramps. The peanuts and burritos were also good. And we found a nice hole in the wall called Tequila’s by the mall that serves GREEEEEAAAAAT margarita’s and killer carne asada and pollo asada. We went there twice just to make sure we weren’t dreaming the first night…
So… How are those dates and MRE’s? 😆

    Doug,

After taking a shower to get off the grime I was in bed at 2:30. Of course, having 5 hours to think about the weekend all I have to say is that I’ve got a new team I race for: Team Minardi. I’m still trying to wipe off the “L” off my forehead!

However, I did FINISH all 20 laps in the main and 10 in the heat! Thanks for a great weekend y’all in GJ and thank you Doug for letting me “borrow” an exhaust valve gasket. I really appreciated it.

    Curt,

I spoke to Mikaela and she said she’d love to make granola bars for Da Guyz over Dere. However she also said something about a brazilian wax job taking priority (and I have no idea what that’s all about 8) ) so can we get a care package assembled after the start of CSC and perhaps before Greeley? Just a thought cuz I’ll need some time to ramp up the bars production.

Michael, sounds like you’ll have a good care package coming your way. Tell all the guys in the hooch or tent with you that the guy wearing number 4 in the video is MIKE JANSEN and he’s known as the tall guy in the class 😆 😆

Oh I can’t wait till the season starts… F1 is well underway, Indy is this month, and the TaG Masters class is only 4 days away, the class that the spectators love the mostest…

    8)

    Curt,

Let me know when a care package is going East. I’ve got some home made granola bars that Mikaela made that can go in it. I know home baked goods are always appreciated. Plus, they travel well.

Hey Sarge, beers (still) on ice ready for you when you get back!

    Stay alert!
