ParticipantRich,
Why does CRE matter to you so much. They don’t care too much about the CSC dates, so why should we care about their dates. I do not mean this in a bad way, I just mean that CRE dates are not somehting the CSC needs to worry too much about, they run their program, and we run ours. I know many races last year that were on eachothers dates, and it did not seem to be too big of a deal. We went out of the way so 5 colorado rotax drivers could go to nats, so when more then 5 stars guys want to go you have to complain about it. Lets make this user friendly. The kid kart guy maybe the only one going to his thing, but what about close to 10 guys going to stars WHO HAVE SUPPORTED THE CSC SINCE ITS BIRTH!!!!!!!!!Marc Elliott
ParticipantYes!! it would work great. You rock Stacey.

ParticipantThis also concerns me as well.

ParticipantDudes,
Chill the $%^& out! :cheers:Marc Elliott
ParticipantOur first chassis had a 40mm, and it was much more forgiving on entry of the corner, but oftenly it would push coming out of the corner, where as the 3 chassis I have had since then with 50mm’s have all come out of the corner much better, but push easier going into the corner. We always have run really wide front tracks on 50mm karts, and really narrow front track widths on our old 40mm. Hope that helps. FYI I had a 50mm on my tag kart, and we were pretty successful with that chassis, so I wouldnt see any problem running a 50 on a tag.

ParticipantLast year, several of the championships were already decided before Steamboat including 80jr. Several class champions did not race in Steamboat.
And what in the event, that this situation is not the case next season. Then that would put a damper on the CSC in my opinion. Look at the Ray’s, Kyle sealed the championship and they still raced in Steamboat a week before World Finals. Regardless of last year, we’re attempting to decide what should be done for next year. That is where a schduling conflict with the (at the moment) only major national series likely being attended by a majority of Colorado racers. I would bet the team who has won both CSC Pro 125 races will be at Stars. I also imagine that this years SSGP 80 winner will probably be at stars if their was a conflict between Infineon and Steamboat. We should give everyone the opportunity to not have to pick and choose between events in 2005.

ParticipantI personally could not have said it better myself. Skusa national is dead and anyone wanting to do nationals are probably going to have to do Stars. So if 5 or 6 of the drivers in Pro 125, and a few in 80 attend Infineon instead of Steamboat, then there goes the CSC championship.

ParticipantWe’re all for national sanctioning, because of what it offers, we should not pass up a great opportunity. I am all for spec. tires for EACH class per national rules, and the big one as Doug said, spec. fuel. If everyone runs the same spec fuel and oil (2 strokes) and the same fuel for four strokes, I think that it would be far cheaper and more sophisiticated of a system of organized competition. Therefore we should fork a little bit more money up front now to make it more economical in the future. The technical regulations, insurance, tires, fuel, and procedures that a national sanctioning offers is something that could very well seal the fate for our series in the best possible way. Regardless if it is all SKUSA or WKA (which includes every class, with Stars rules for shifters) it is just the right thing our series needs as it is getting too large for what we have seen in the past.
Happy New Year.Marc Elliott
ParticipantWouldn’t surprise me man that you were treated bad there, I have heard horror stories from accross the nation about indoor places. I havent been there in 2 years, and I still remember being the fastest driver all day there and being yelled at for being too “hard” on the equipment. That place is more of an amusment park then a race track.

ParticipantWe would prefer it on the fourth weekend as well, extra time is always nice.
