InactiveStacey,
Team Schermerhorn has enjoyed coming out the last two years that weekend as it has been a little less hectic having an extra day off to enjoy the area , and of course you guys and the track!! If you have it that weekend we will just plan on being there and will enjoy as we always have!! By the way, congratulations on the TRACK approval as it will make the coming racing years more enjoyable every time we visit! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL YOU FOLKS OUT THERE ON THE WEST SLOPE!!! THE SCHERMERHORNS, BEN, LIZ, MARK :cheers:December 20, 2004 at 8:49 pm #49212Marc Elliott
ParticipantWe would prefer it on the fourth weekend as well, extra time is always nice.

ParticipantNot trying to be a smart a## here, but why are you asking us? I thought the CSC board had the 05 schedule all worked out. :rotate:
Anyway:
We too like the GJ race on the 4th of July with the extra day being on Monday next year. I assume the race will be on Sat & Sun the 2nd & 3rd?? And travel home on the 4th…
We also like to blow things up in your back pit area.
If we did that on this side of the mountain, we would all end up in jail. Including that little pyro kid, Morgan Jones 😯December 20, 2004 at 11:47 pm #49214stacey cook
ParticipantCurt, the track owners get together and proceed to pick dates that work for each track and around all the Major national events. However GJMS does not have to go with July 4th as our 2nd CSC event. we could choose another date if it worked better for everyone else that wanted to come…

InactiveLast year on the 4th was an absolute blast. It was a little hot, but hey, I think I sweated off a few pounds that weekend. I vote for the 4th again.

ParticipantStacey,
The 4th works for the TAG Masters class, the class that the fans demand 20 lap finals…

InactiveWe too enjoy the 4th in GJ and you are right Curt, Morgan along with Dominic (Carelli) and a few other players to-be-named would definitely be getting bailed out of juvey.
