Strawberry Park, good for you, i like that place. Plenty of hippies, but a fun place indeed. Looks like Kid karts had the highest entry which is good to see growth in the class. Its good its in the old direciton with the teardrop, that backwards way was too bumpy (not like thats saying much) and way too dangerous, plus a multitude of other distinct reasons, ie scales and pits.

do you recall what i said about how insane/stupid it would be to enter this event when it seemingly appears you do not even own a kart, this isnt a club race, this is a national with veryfast drivers

not trying to be an ass, just realize that if you entered you would be last

you cannot possibly in a million years be considering a PMT Natioinal as your first race, its in 2 weeks, you need a kart, a skusa licence and experiance

recalibrate your tire rollout, if its a mychron your standard rollout is 36, if you are running BS YHCs, its like 33.75. That will substantially decrease your MPH. Its pretty close eitherway mph wise, roughly 69-74 depending on gearing. Many shifters do not even go 81mph eitherway, top shifter speeds so far out there are about 83-85

its possible, but not in colorado (minus a road coarse, ie a car track) in jacksonville the tags do about 83-84, but that is a fast track where the shifters do about 95. Top speed for a tag at bandimere is about 65, at imi about 73-74 and gj about 69-72

record i belive is 55.9 by AJ Noud, but the super fast guys run low 56s on really good track conditions, otherwise 57-58

unless the weather goes sour, the race should go on, there was no snow and the track was clear today, so it should be good, have fun, ill stop by to hang out later

Greg, one kart track in this state is in serious financial trouble, and i doubt that purchasing PA on their own would have even worked, so please do not assume you know the financial situation of each track. Especially please refrain from stating that they are guzzeling the profit when the tracks in the state really are trying hard to help the racers

The race was well done, although some schduling issues are questionable (giving kids trophys before the classes can go out put us back an hour, then the power problems which were purley accidental due to over use of power, at least i think). Racing was extremly good in most of the classes, in TaG Masters, TaG Junior, Pro 125, and some other classes had challenges for the lead many times. The racing was fairly clean, minus the innevitable contact. All problems were handled well, and for the most part the day was very fun for us, we had many problems such as the gas pedal breaking off the frame in the tag. The shifter wouldent run during break in because it got loaded up from heat cycling with the richer jet. The tag also broke a ground cable and wouldnot start early in the morning. Oh well, it was a great way to start the season, and should be huge in GJMS.
Thanks to everyone who helped us yesterday.

P.S. Donel Loughry kicked all of our asses, it was only the second time he had driven the kart i belive. Like ben said, he was only 2 tenths slower then the top G1 qualifer. He is someone that can win races without any problems.

The only ones legal for tag are the reds, which are supposedly the biggest pos out there. they are also 200 frogskins as well. Stay with yhcs or get something like maxis, or somthin else
