We will run the Kid Karts on the half track. We switched to the full track after the timing loop failed. I agree that the racing is closer and teaches the kids how to drive and race better.
    Thanks,
    Jim

The Club series will follow the rules of the CSC, this way it becomes a good training ground for the regional CSC.
Yes, the Club series will use the same numbered background.
Greg, please use the color for your class. I know your body stickers have a white background, CRG has yellow, Birel has yellow, so we all need to order the proper set of numbers and background.

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Update…
Yes, rental/corp karts will be available. We have some “Big” names already expressed interest. Lets just say from the IRL, Nascar, and GT series, as well as local media.
I will post entry fees, driver requirements and the “official” registration form in the next few days…
Lets just say that we are working on the TV deal, Mobile Big Screen and Fireworks at Midnight as of now.
    More to follow,
    Jim

    Brian and Rick,

Its rare when a company EXCEEDES all expectations…especially in a down economy.
I can’t tell you how cool this is!
Thanks for making my slow head at least look good!

I’ve always loved the fact that in racing, your helmet is your business card, while you were doing business. Thanks for making mine look awesome.

this is what I love about this race. I really designed it to bring out the recreational racer and get people using their equipment. The “racer” is already thinking lap times, no way the equipment is going to make it… And the marathon runner can’t wait! I’m sure the auto industry was having the same discussions over the announcement of Le Mans when it first was announced.
I’m talking with Brian R. about prize money and logistics, but I can tell you, this first year, rules will be very “open”.

Remember, you have to finish to win!
    stay tuned!!!

    Don,
The rules were up for a brief time, until some typos were found.
The spec tire for the CSC MG yellows. The Spec fuel is MS93 for Rotax, and MS 98 for the rest. C-12 is allowed for built moto only.
The spec oil will be announced shortly.
    For for any confusion.
    Thanks,
    Jim

    Cris,
    Sorry for the confusion…
We are in the middle up creating a new CSC web site for all the sponsors, new information, rules package and schedule.
I don’t even have the secret hand shake, but I will assure you get it before Tony…(ha, ha) (I can tell you it has something to do with rentals and axles, but cant tell you much more, right Tony?)
I have asked to update the schedule page on the CSC link, and I will post a new list soon.
    Thanks for your patience.

    Craig,
Just to stop any confusion, The Track has donated a 12 session punch card for track time. The Value of the card is $420.00.
I wish we could be there, however, we have other commitments out of state. Good luck on the fund raising.

    Hello,
Due to the lack of rooms in GJ for the CSC Race,
The Dates have been swapped with The Track at Centennial.
For the current schedule, The Track at Centennial will host the first CSC in June, and Grand Junction will host the event in August.
The schedule will be updated shortly.
    Thanks,
    JIm

    Hello,
Last year was the first year to offer a “local” qual. series for the Nationals. We didn’t have many sign up at first, so I combined the series with the IMI/Track series.
We had over 30 entries, so to keep the momentum moving forward, and not take up any more weekends, The Track has the “Mile High Challenge” which you need to sign up for to qual. for Nationals in September. The head office decides how many spots qual for Nationals.
Freeze, You paid nothing for last years challenge, because it was the first year with little interest. It turned into a great thing, so now its it own series, yet you still want it combined with TaG? See you on Sundays I guess.
As a Rotax owner, you have the option to race Saturday under full RMax rules, switch tires and adjust weight, and race Sunday under the Club/CSC Rules.
Two entries. Trophies will be awarded for both the IMI/Track race as well as the “Mile High Challenge” saturday race, both on race day and overall. Points for Nationals with be announced shortly, but will be decided PRIOR to the selection for National. The Race in September is to decide the “season” winners, not just the qualifiers.
    Stay tuned for more information.
Please call or e-mail me if you have any questions.
    Thanks,
    Jim

    Ben,
Don’t start ranting. This post is in regards to a “suggestion” that AJ “proposed” as his Idea for CSC.
The Pro’s are not going anywhere unless they choose to.
The class named was changed last year to 125 shifter, simply because no one set any rules as to what was or is a “pro” and what was or is anything else.
The level of commitment is still up to you.
    Happy Holidays,
    Jim
