    To All that attended…

I want to say “Thank You” for attending an awesome event!!! It always worries me with large fields racing in a new environment, (similar to our first Pepsi Center race with over 100 entries)

I can’t believe how amazing our Mini Max racers are!!! What a show, as well as all the rest of us!

From all of us at The Track, thank you again for your support and confidence in us to put on a show worthy of attending.

I want to say a special thanks to Haselden Construction for sponsoring the lights and making the event possible.

I hope everyone races to the best they can at the Rotax Grand Nationals, and anywhere else your kart and trailer take you.

    Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!

See you in August at “The Track”

    Jim

Everyone that wants to reserve a pit space from what is available, may do so anytime and set up your camp starting on Tuesday.

    Thanks,

    Leo,

I’m still laughing at how much fun that was! It seemed like 8 years ago, I’m sitting on the grid, and for some reason I’m always next to Roman and Freeze!!! It was dejavu all over again! Here we go again…

I’m happy that this is working out to be a great class.

To all that were there…I’m sorry for taking the time to really get the weights in the right place for our series, but feel we have a great structure now.

As Leo stated LO206 Lite 300lbs. Medium 350lbs, Heavy 380lbs.

So that people don’t miss out and lose double points, I may add a full rotation in our schedule on race day, so that the 206 class races twice. That way if there is a break down in the first race, they have a chance to repair and get out for the second race.

    I will keep all updated.

Also the secret weapon for the chains popping off… floating carrier. With the removal of the 3rd bearing, the axle is flexing so much the sprocket gets way out of alignment.

Again, Thanks to the CJKC for stopping by The Track, it was nice to see over 108 entries!!! Both groups put on a great show!

    See you at The Track!!!

    Great racing for all!!!

We have looked at all the weights from the day, and have come up with the weight breaks for the LO206.

    3 Classes: Lite 320lbs, Medium 350 lbs, Heavy 380lbs.

    12 and older…

This should help get everyone in a class and start testing for Race 1 of Racing the Rockies!

    Richard,

My mistake. I did not change the original post. The Track moved the date to the 13th so it did not conflict with Easter Sunday. April 13th is the correct date.

    Thanks

    Leo,
Refer to the LO206 rules on their web site.
    5506, 5507. Only headers allowed.
Main jet as well is described.

We have only opened up the clutch options.

You are right that the Dealer needs to add parts to have a “Turn Key” package, and the options are fully described in the rules.

Green air filter, main jet, Junior Carb…etc

    Follow this link…

    Thanks

    Hi,

The rules that we will use are as follows:

LO206, complete from B&S Racing, thru the dealer network.
The package that is installed on my kart, as well as the one everyone saw at the Open House is the spec package. (headers, muffler, etc.)

The Track is going to leave the drive system “open” (Belt, chain, 219, 35…) I have a 219 chain installed.

Full size chassis with the full rear protection (metal or otherwise)

    Duro tire.

Weights as described in the press release.

Any question, please call or email.

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Hi Mike,

Rain… I think we will take a vote if it rains, as the Mile High Series usually wont run wet, but because of the expense of the lights, I would like to run regardless.

Lights. The ones we rented for the Cheerleaders didn’t adjust at all, so the track was dark in many spots. Since we are playing for real, I have to good ones showing up, and will take the time to make sure all is placed in the proper, safe areas for racing.

This should be a blast!!! Im really looking forward to great racing, good friends, and lots of fun!

    See you at The Track!

    Hello all.
Because of the complexity of arranging this event, we will have open or controlled practice Friday night, the 9th.
That way, everyone will have a chance to be ready!

    Thanks,

    Jim

    see you at The Track!

I sure we will get the total points updated for you as soon as possible. Only so many hours in the day…
    Thanks,

    Hello Rotax Racers.

    Just a quick note.

You may race in both series with a US legal, sealed Rotax motor. You will need a new style airbox. Thanks all.

If you go to the Grand Nationals, you will need the new clutch and 09 and newer head.

    Pretty easy.

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Gunter,
Sorry for the confusion. You are correct that the Mile High Challenge and Racing the Rockies are Rotax and Spec Shifter.
As The Track at Centennial continues to build a well run, safe racing program that is stable, the Rotax motor has proven to be a great investment for the racer. I am committed to protecting that investment. We can help you find a motor package for your new interested parties.

Rod, If you are planning on racing at the Grand Nationals, you will need the current head. It is not required for either of the series run here. You can find all the rules at http://www.GoRotax.com.

If anyone has questions regarding Rotax or the Series run by The Track at Centennial, feel free to call or e-mail me directly, so you will get the straight answer.

Competitive and safe racing to all…

    Jim

    Hi Jordan,

Just a quick update for you…

Ben just won Streets of Lancaster on his Birel with a Rotax…. and Birel with a Rotax just won the RoboPong 200 in New Castle and another finished 2nd.
