ParticipantRight on Rick.
I’ve done a couple of night races and I loved them. The karts look fantastic at night.

ParticipantSomehow I knew I hadn’t heard the last of this. Anway, it was fun to race against my old TaG Master buddies again.

ParticipantCraig,
What’s the start time for the event tomorrow? One post I saw said 9 AM and others said 11 AM.
Thanks,
Charlescgordon
ParticipantCraig,
I registered but you have to use “race4heros” as the event code.

ParticipantI saw a preview of that movie when it first came out. A friend was working in a theater in Beverly Hills and he called me and invited me to a special showing. It’s been released at least 3 times that I know of under different names. The original title was “One By One”. Even though the cars weren’t as fast back then as they are now, they were more exciting to watch because the slide around more, the suspension moved a lot, and tracks weren’t all billiard table smooth.

ParticipantCurt,
The spec SKUSA tire does complicate tire management for us because we’ll have different series in Colorado requiring different tires now. I hope the spec tire will be cheaper because before I could get a discount by buying enough tires to cover all my racing in Colorado. Now with number of races for each type of tire cut in half, I doubt I will buy enough sets to qualify for a discount.
What about the other part of the SKUSA rule that requires two CIK or CIK-style side pods with side bars? Are those a different style of side pod or does that refer to the same old sidepod bars we’ve been using?
Thanks,

ParticipantChange the gearbox oil about every 3 track days and remember to drain the water at this time of year. Periodically check the reeds for chipping. Clean the carb and fuel pumps every 3 or 4 track days.
Have fun!

ParticipantHey Rick,
I think I’ve tried that, but without much success.
