ParticipantThe track direction must remain clockwise. If there are enough drivers on Saturday we will control practice. You can fax a form in at 303-833-0502, we just need your name, kart #, class, credit card info and you can sign the release on Sunday.

ParticipantFrom the TAGUSA website:
Rotax Max FR 125 / JR – See current RMX rules
Looks like you have to run them just like they did last week.
Brad Linkus
ParticipantYes, the tuner must have a min .1% at the scale. For you its not the size that counts but how much is left after its been chewed on all day.
Brad Linkus
ParticipantI don’t think so, he told me what to look for on your engine.
Brad Linkus
ParticipantBarry and myself will be doing tech this Sunday so you better watch out!
Brad Linkus

ParticipantYes, the fuel catch can must be vented. The air in your line is a different issue. Did you change the fuel line from that solid blue line you had?

I cant get in to post to the csc site.Last year I changed the rule pertaining to the Rotax, If you look at the Rotax PDF it’s been disabled and states that you must follow the RMAX rules. This was done after meetings with Rotax and the Importer in early 2006. The only thing that is inplace is the seal program, TAGUSA has no seals. Any engine that has been equiped as per the old rules after January 1,2007 must be deemed none compliant.

Brad Linkus
ParticipantI don’t think it is the same for the airbox, you better call to find out for yourself.

ParticipantIf you are slipping the clutch all the way around the track because your gear is to low of a ratio you will fry the clutch. Try to gear your engine (any engine) so that it’s max rpm is reached at the end of fastest part of the track (usually straight). Your engine should be locked up 85% of the time if you want the clutch to last on any engine.
Brad Linkus
ParticipantYou would need to change the gear on the clutch to run a short track. If you don’t you will fry the clutch!
