I had good luck with a one-man kart stand when figuring this out. If you can find a good deal on one it isn’t much more than most of the other solutions proposed (well except maybe a skateboard) and a lot more elegant.

Doug, that helmet looks fast in your pic man!

Definitely go with the 12″ wheels, they will generate less heat on the highway and roll nicer over bumpy roads in town. As mentioned earlier, I never had issues with HF wheel bearings as long as you repack them with real grease to start, and keep an eye on things.
On my old trailer (smaller harbor freight frame with 12″ wheels) I build some side platforms to raise the kart over the fenders. I happened to give myself just enough room to put a folding kart stand underneath which made me pretty proud of myself. See my picture attached….

As long as the cost isn’t outrageous (and I wouldn’t blame anybody if it was) I might have to pull Schuler out of retirement and put together a rental kart team!

In regards to your avatar, I may need to take you up on that request. Not so much on the wrenching just yet, but a good rundown of things the first time I get her out to IMI, you know?

DEAL! 8) I can help you get started with the checklist on Thursday!

So I bought the benefit kart.

I’m very stoked, seems like a hell of deal.

I’ll be picking her up from Rick soon so hopefully I’ll be seeing some you all out on the track ASAP.

    😀 🙂 😮 ❗ :loony: 👿

    Hey Doug,

Great to hear you found a kart. Rick is a great guy; listen to what he has to say!

    Hey Doug,

Sorry someone else beat you to the kart. There are a couple other good packages on here that you should take a look at. In particular Jay seems to be selling a very similar package for the same price here:

I am sure some others can chime in as well…
