Mike, I think the Mini Max was very comprable to the Animal. The really great thing about the Mini Max is when I go to the track I am usually running with trying to take care of the track so my daughter will check tire pressure lube her chain add fuel and push the button and away she goes. I have not done a single thing to it all year except change a few jets. It runs great and has not cost me a dime to maintain other than the fuel and oil, plus when she is ready to move into the Tag jr class I will jsut bolt it on another chassis remove the restrictors and away she will go. I dont see buying her another engine package for at least 5 years. How much do you think the animal guys will spend in the next 5 years ? anyone that would like to try one is welcome to come over to GJ and demo one anytime…

Zipnby, first these are not rumors they are facts! When you were torn down at Grand Junction you were illegal! period, I made the mistake of not DQ you then because of the position we were in as track owners and parents of 2 of the kids that would of benefited from the DQ. instead I warned you and the other kart dad that was not legal that these motors better not show up again like that. Then at Steamboat you we check the clutches and intakes and again you are illegal!! Then the people trying to help with this are all the bad guys. Your kids are not only great drivers but great little kids that just want to have fun and race. I think the way it was handled in Steamboat was wrong, you should be DQed end of story. I really like you personally but am really pissed that you would put the kids, officals, parents in this position. THIS IS FOR FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Angie, we could still do the right thing and take the points away from that event, cheating is wrong and are we condoning it by letting them off twice?[/i]

Derick, I totally agree with you they should have been DQ’ed this last weekend in Steamboat, that was the second time for one and the rule should of been inforced. If you look at the final point standings it cost a kid the Championship. What are we teaching our kids by cheating? This is going to be a pretty bold statement but ANYONE CAUGHT BLANTANTLY CHEATING AT GJMS WILL BE BANNED 😡 !! PERIOD. This is for fun not some world championship or huge amount of cash.

Dane, What did you guys think of our schedule at GJMS on the last CSC race? we ran 2 full practices for all classes and a complete program and we were totally done by 5:30. That is what we are trying to do a GJMS is get down a schedule and stick to it by the minute. We would not be oppossed to a two day event but as Blink says it is really expensive for the tracks to do that.

Doug, Thankyou!!! you and your entire family are incredible. If it had not been for all of your familys help and hard work Grand Junction Motor Speedway would of probably never got opened. From putting up Miles of 8 ft fence in 100 degree heat, to building the most awesome finish line in the country you all have worked your selves to death. GJMS and All the Colorado Karters appreciate all that you guys have done. We are very lucky to have you as friends. GJMS Gang
