These are the local shops that come to mind in no particular order.
Find someone running the Briggs down there and hook up for some help or a track day to get you pointed in the right direction. It may save you a lot of heart ache in the long run.

That many tires requires a good size truck/trailer. Hard to hide that many items. What else was taken? Inside job?Was there a forced entry into the building? If not, it should be pretty easy to narrow down the suspects.
Richie is correct about the batch numbers.
We could get a posse together and ride at sun up?
Keep us informed.

ParticipantAs always, nice photo’s Mitch!
Stacey, did you put Sabre in a shifter for the weekend? If so, do we have another S3 contender next year?

…. .and the stuff we show up with on race day has only ever had the proper fuel in it.By proper, you mean the stuff that burns the eyes and throat something fierce?
Just saying? 😉

ParticipantGayle,
We think about Rich all the time!
Glad to hear there is some progress going on.
Also this Sunday is the last “Racing for Rich Series” race. If you have not been invited, please come and see everyone again. It wouldn’t have to be much more than an appearance is you desired. There was talk about letting you know, don’t know if it was followed up on or not? Bu you are certainly welcome.
Thanks for hanging in there and keeping us all up to date.

ParticipantLongmont has some very big smooth parking lots Mikey.
Seagate?
Hell it’s fun to Google Earth the metro and scope the “big enough / smooth enough” opportunities!
Can’t wait for the cool one and some good cold weather food. Sounds like it’s coming, expect company :bb :bb :bb

ParticipantI know there will be huge race oppurtunities provided by the TTAC and The Skusa Pro Tour both bringing their brand of racng and the temp races should be absolutely incredible next year as well!
It’s going to cost the promoters some big money but it looks like it is going to happen? I suppose more than one Pepsi Center race is even possible?
I was thinking more bout the people we did not get to race with this year. Not who can outlast who, or who can bring the biggest show. Just before we close the chapter on 2009 kart racing, maybe a chance to salvage that continuity we once shared as a racing communuity. A nuetral track, voluteer race support… Just get everyone on the same track racing the same day. Do you think it’s still the same?
I know you do get the drift Mike, and I personally appreciate you having the balls to stand up and say what is right! Of course it won’t happen. It just seems like it would be cool to end 2009 with a sweet taste on the tongue. Like I said, this is my wish full little thought. Wouldn’t it be cool sort of thing! You know?
Next year is going to be unbelievable, it will bring multiple venues, multiple temp circuits, the chances to compete in higher level National Series, trips to Brazil, TV coverage, free big race entries, jumbo trons, out of town national racers… Bigger fields will remain to be seen I suppose.
I’m talking wouldn’t it be cool this year. Thats all.

ParticipantI’ll try anything Rick. Do you have a contact number for him? If so, can you PM it to me? I missed you a couple of weeks back when I tried to give you a call, but I still have your number. If it’s okay with you I’ll try to get in touch with you sometime this week in the evenings. I still work 3rds, saves on child care, so it’s hard for me to get in touch with regular people sometimes. Maybe PM would be best.
Ohh and thanks to you, Curt, and Kirk for reviving this thread. It really needed it and it seems a thread really gets going when you three get involved.
Of course you can call my cell Doug 303-886-4190. In the USKGP website above, he includes an email as well as phone number for contact information.
I think it would be really sad not to have the opportunity to drive on a great circuit so close to home. It is just what the doctor ordered for so many racers here in Colorado. I heard a lot of mumblings from Scca racers with the choice of Lajunta or Pueblo when we had some retty good choices in the past.
Don’t know how many racers were around to see the Sprint Karts run 2nd Creek, but it was a very cool venue and very well attended events. It was just too small for road racing karts, (we used to shake down my road race karts there) but now there is a very good facility that may not get enough support from karters to be able to utilize? Seems crazy?
Seems like the initial efforts to get sprint karts out there did not get much traction. I really don’t think one or a few people are going to be able to swing enough weight to get the job done and the Sprint racing crowd does not seem to have the strength it did in the recent past. Maybe Bernie could help us? It would be cool to have a big Road Race here in the state for the karting crowd.
Don’t give up man.

ParticipantBoth of us should have been turned into Child Services!!!
Roman races old rubber the first half season he raced. I taped his hand to the shifter handle when he started shifters and he ran 20 laps, if he came in with the tape broken, we retaped and did another 20? We are so abusive (to non paying customers)
