As good natured as I can make this sound…”$5 head, $5 helmet…how much is your head worth?” Seriously, there are many other pieces of equipment you can change out later…don’t skimp on the brain bucket.
TroyYou porr guys, having to wear a helmet and everything. All I have to do is put a Bell sticker on my forehead. (or 5 head as my Dad teases me) (or “Rick you have a forehead all the way to your a$$, a my cousin teases me) Wait… Everybody teases me about my slightly thinning on top head.
Oh well. Seems I even do it. :bang

ParticipantStacey,
You still alive?
Don’t want to hear about your body being found up on 29-13/16’s road. Or whatever you guys name your raods up there. Who came up with that anyway?

ParticipantGarrick,
Just stand the head in your avatar up with photo shop. 😉

Welcome but stay away from “51” in Tag Masters.
He means, literally, stay away from # 51. 😉

ParticipantGet the coleman that is shimable.
Check out Imi or Billet first.
Just Google “Coleman chainbreaker” and it wil bring up several pages if you can’t find one locally.

ParticipantWell, holy balls Mikey,
You have to admit, it was pretty good.
Is there part of the story that is not being told here? Was there a trigger to this unfortunate chain of malicious events? Or was this an unprovoked attack against you Mike? Being such an introverted and laid back guy, it’s hard to imagine you did anything wrong here.
Just remember “he who laughs last, laughs best” I’m going to make up some popcorn and sit back and watch this one unfold!

ParticipantIt really was not funny on my end either. I thought i might see if you guys like it. I been trying to help him work so things out at the track and he tells me that it sold. Note that I have 2 motors that have been built and should be in next week. A new chassi, hemet, suit etc… Now i am in his office trying to see how im going to get my money back on all this stuff. So I call the engine builder to cancel my orders and then e-mailed him to do so. When doing all of this Stacey is looking me in the eye. I have a full blown sponser this year, so i talked to them and told them the deal and how sorry i was for this to happen. After doing all of this he said it was a joke. Now i am trying to decide if i want to call all those people back. What would you do ? I’ve emberassed my self in front of some very important people even thow some think it was funny. Let me know your thoughts.
Personally, I think it’s world class!
Just call and tell them what happened, when they’re done laughing. reinstate your orders!
You have to admit, you got had, pretty damn good!
What motors did you order? Is Budweiser your new sponsor? Do you need your helmet painted? I saw you in Vegas, have to buy a smaller suit now?
Maybe this sparks your return to karting dominance.

Ok, ok, Ricky dude,
They last for ever and there will be parts and engines into the next millenum!
So how many stock honda heavys will be on the track this year?
The Camaro goes plenty fast enough, although someone thinks I need a Harley.
I am still very much on the fence and with the season not really starting until late June, I have some time.Perry
Ok Perry Dude,
They may not last forever but do have a pretty good track record. As far as how many? Looks like 6-7 at this point. But there has been quite bit of interest in seeing “who else is doing it” type of thing. The amount of interest is encouraging and the quality level will be good.
My Dads neighbor down in Lake Havasu is Kenne Bell. He makes a bad blower for those things. Works very well with the computer motors!
A harley? I think you need one too. They make a blower for those too. Get a Street Glide and I’ll make it a Fat Bagger for you. Then throw a Gunslinger paint job on her! Next thing you’ll be growing your hair out!!!
Yea, you do have a while. We would like to start getting some track time early spring though. Don’t really have to worry about racking up time on the motor before race season. May even go do a So Cal race or something. They have some pretty good ones out there.
I’m sure whatever you decide will be a good way to go Perry. Just pulling your chain a little.

ParticipantYes.
Jim is in Fla right now and I’m sure you’ll get the schedule when he returns.
