Hey Everyone:(Rick Schmidt and I were in the Men’s bathroom a while ago and that was my last real good laugh)
What were you doing in the mens room anyway?

ParticipantWhen I read this I looked for my phone to make some calls and realized I had left my phone in the car. I had 12 missed calls relating to this incident.
Godspeed Rich!
We’re all pulling for you.

ParticipantTom,
We’ve had better luck with the heavy floats and richer needle. Float height around 7mm.
I understand they have better luck with the light floats at lower density altitudes.
Congratulations on the promotion Jack.

ParticipantAlso Don,
If you drain the fuel from the tank when the kart is not in use the clunk tubing will last a few seasons. If you leave fuel in the tank, I would replace it every year as it swings back and forth inside the tank and tends to get weak as it hardens from fuel exposure. Use good quality Tygon tubing.

ParticipantI would suggest making up a spare system for troubleshooting the fuel supply.
I made a set up with an extra clunk (the line hanging in the tank) some links of fuel line and a fuel pump. You can attach the pulse line and temporarily wire tie the it on, hook to the carb and tank and go out and try it. If it corrects the problem, start a process of elimination. It is a quick way to trouble shoot what can be an elusive fix.

ParticipantLook, he was going so fast it was impossible to get the whole kart in the picture?
Actually, he was running for his life so those pesky Jake boys would quit lapping him! 😥

ParticipantOk,
I’ll wait here.

My dad at one point managed to get his own forum on ekartingnews with Rick blood called The Rocky and Bloodwinkle show.I believe this was the Kartsport forum vs the E-karting forums Greg. And yes the banter is seriously missed.

he he now thats funny Rick.. We do have a fullsize Nascar on the floor with a built in simulator that is way to much fun… 2nd one coming soon with a weekly series. Now if we can only keep Darren and CWT out of them so someone else can play and we can actually make money off of them.
Maybe you need to get rid of the beer girl, then those guys will go away?

Doug we couldn’t go to the bottom of the barrel our guy was laying over the top and wouldnt fit in it.. We have lots of great news coming soon…..
That’s funny!
So let’s see where we stand on my questions:
*Where is the CSC marketing line? kind of thin
*Where is the schedule for the Track’s Rotax program? Done
*What about IMI’s new track? What is the realistic time table for it? Next year? up date given probably late this yr
*Who is going to race where? Is everybody feed up with the Denver scene and going to race at CRE?very little input from you weener karters
*Who has decided to give up racing this yr., because of the economy?nobody
*What happened to the CSC/Club racing committee; what are they doing?doing very little or nothing
Seems to me marketting might be the key this yr. The first track out of the box might get the cake.CRE then IMI then the Track are the cake winners; GJ & The Track not on the scene yet.
Also,
Vito was a great choice for running Grand Junction Motor Speedway! You can bet your bottom dollar all of the above questions will be answered in a very timely manner. Information for the 2010 racing season will be released within the next week. The racer will be paid to show and compete. Grass, Sprinkler system, air conditioned pit spots, full bar, Nacar, Irl, F1… Wow. The world karting festival, complete with pony rides! AND… personal driving school for newbie and expert alike.
Good God Stacey. Glad you found someone to set the pace for racing here in north America! :wave
