ParticipantJustin,
I think you should mount up that “Acme Rocket” to your shifter, when you sense one of those loose cannons getting ready to climb up you, light the wick and hang on baby!!! Simply leaving a scattered ash behind you. And a little league Dads hopes up in smoke?
I looked at my laps and it looks like there is a very large lap time differential on track at the same time, 10 seconds plus? That in itself can be a recipe for disaster. Not sure if some of those racers have competed in some club events to get their feet under them, but I thought that’s kind of where the license levels helped to protect equipment.
4-5 years ago they ran Tag Masters and Tag Senior at the first race of the season and it happened to be at GJMS and the large differential did cause the big one. It was ugly.
2 – 3 seconds a lap is huge, but 10?

ParticipantDid you tell Aj you were laying in the grass while there was a race going on?

Posted: Wed 05 27, 2009 1:31 pmJust once I’m going to come up to a parent doing the fear thing and ask them if they’d like to intimidate me instead.
Hopefully she doesn’t kick your a$$ too Mike?

Unless there’s a trophy girl handing out trophies for the first crash, what’s the point?
So when are we going to get trophy girls?
Mike, it may be tough to get the trophy girl to come out and lay on the grass to present your podium award? (remember, there were camera’s there)
Hope everyone had a good Memorial Weekend and Rich’s Fundraiser went well.
Memorial day = Tired.
Richs benefit = It was great Mike!
Shows the true spirit of the racers here in Colorado!!! + the amount of pm contacts I’ve recieved on Ekn really blow me away how much of the country was watching what we did for a fellow racer and his family. They have been following our local forum, Caring Bridge and Ekn to get the latest information. Special thanks to those who donated auction items, raffle items, cash donations as well as the volunteer help. It was a great cause and a good time for all.
Thanks to everyone for the participation.
Rick

ParticipantMike,
Log on to http://www.richvito.com to enter the blind draw or to purchase a tee shirt, I know you already have a sticker but you can also bid remotely for any auction items you might be intersted in (maybe a new rib?)
Or call my cell if you do not have connectivity.

ParticipantDoes that make you a “C” Holder? Sounds better than an “A” Holder to me.
I like both! 😉
Rick Schmidt
ParticipantAnyone who finished behind you should have a “D” license then Brian.
Getting owned by a “C” license must hurt!
