ParticipantI’m not sure. Can the B&S pump be rebuilt? Does it suffer from the same pump gas deterioration that the rotax fuel pump membranes do?

ParticipantCalendar Updated
You specify Tag and open, meaning something that has a push button start on the kart…
All else goes?
richardhensley
ParticipantI’ll get this into the karting calendar! Thanks for such a great progress.

ParticipantI updated the calendar, please check it out Craig

ParticipantWe imploded two max torques before finding the stingers.
The only thing you have to watch on the stingers is keeping the inner screws tight. Thus, I took the clutch apart after every full day of running.
richardhensley
ParticipantClutch clarifications is the only thing we should consider. All the rest of the rules worked really well I believe.
Steph ran on one set of tires the whole season including practice and races. That way I could afford tires… 😀
See you on the track!

ParticipantAdded it to calendar for 2015. Thanks Craig

ParticipantDoes this mean that GJMS club is going to have a LO206 class next season?
If so, what weight, tire, and motor rules are you planning on using?
Racing the Rockies and PPKRC use Duro Tires, completely stock motor including the stock jet, and three weight classes light 300lbs, medium 350lbs, heavy 380lbs. PPKRC has only the medium class.
It would be really helpful if the rules were the same or close.
I’m not a fan of the grip of the Duro tire 😆 , I am however a fan of the price and how long they last. We used 1 set for the whole season including practice and racing.
Thanks,
Richard

ParticipantCory,
I have to call you out on more and high level of competition means you are willing to travel. I don’t recall seeing you racing the at “Racing the Rockies” series over in Denver. We would enjoy having you join us.
There is a relatively large group of Rotax Senior, Masters, and Junior racers at The Track. We have Scott Falcone, a member of the Rotax Worlds team racing with us regularly. That seems like a high level of competition. The lowest numbers we have had is 13, the highest is 21. The masters class is the largest.
I have not seen you at these races. I believe the race meets the criteria of good competition and large fields.
We race all the classes together create a field of between 13 and 21 drivers, so there is always somebody to race.My point is that it is something different than just competition. There needs to be something else to get folks to travel. I’m not sure what it is, but I gave up and just travel big time to CoTA and Grands this year. It was just easier and the competition is amazing.
We have one more points race, and a cool down race. Why don’t you join us? You might find the group of folks fun to race. We race standard Rotax rules. You have the option of new or used tires, just have to race all day on what you qualify.

ParticipantJim, what direction are we running?

ParticipantYou are welcome! I find a lot of value in watching them for myself. Although, I’m questioning the impact on my results.

ParticipantAs a learning exercise, anybody want to critique my driving?
Maybe that would be helpful for the whole community?
I’ve got a thick skin, and I know I’m sloppy in my driving.Richard

ParticipantJohn,
Dashware is pretty cool. I like dashware due to flexibility. However, it takes a bit to get the first dashboard setup the way you want, and a GPS is really required to keep the get the whole synch thing going.
Greg,
I’m waiting…

ParticipantEddy, we missed you. 27 folks on the track and over a 100 racers was so much fun.
