    Jeremy,

the Calendar link calendar.php shows the calendar for all the events that may be of interest to Colorado Karters.

You can use that page to ask for a PDF that will show all the races.

There are races from April through October as I recall.

Hey, I tried to find an offical we present of the colorado junior karters or the colorado karting tour. I tried cjkc.net, which redirects to coloradojuniorkartingclub.com with is not active.

So, where is that schedule for CKT posted?

    Craig,

I have 2 for sale. Contact Greg at Unser, he has both of them. He has what a new racer needs.

    Welcome!

I would definitely consider an EVO kit as the rules require it for racing next season. The EVO is also easier to drive.

Greg can point you in the right direction.

    Come on out and race.

I also live near IMI in Erie. I occasionally drive IMI. I spend most of my time at TTAC because that is where I do most of my racing.

    Hey,

There was a photographer at the race yesterday. Does anybody know if those pictures will be available?

So, I have some updated information.

Unser Racing will be providing some Beba tire sets for the testing.

I’m still trying to figure out how to get some MG Reds for the testing.

We have some volunteers for testing, including:

    Stephanie
    Jim
    Adam
    Jeremy

In looking at my work and vacation calendar, I have the following weekends that might be possible.

    July 25, 26
    August 29, 30
    Sept 19, 20

I just connected with Jim at The Track. LO206 class will have open rains for a declared race. Jim will be sending an e-mail and posting to thetrack.us

    Thanks

Zac, is it safe to use duro tires during a rain race? Is it even worth while?

I spoke with some folks, and the biggest thing we face is finding a tire that is slower on the first heat cycle than others. If we have a tire that is faster during the first heat cycle, then folks will buy new tires each race to qualify faster. If we have a tire, like the duro, that does not do that, then we have a tire that won’t require a huge spend.

For instance, the feedback from the Phoenix Kart Racing is that the MG Red’s are better after they are used a bit. So, that might be a good tire. They also get good wear on the tire.
