I am sorry if you think I am trying to discredit Rons race. If I could go back to Sunday I would have never talked to Dennis. I would have done what everyone else does and look the other way.
Now people have to bring budgets of racing into an exhaust issue discussion. I have been dealing with this since I started in the sport. Just this year we had to change the rules of safety wire because people were saying ” Fines do not affect RBI because they have more money then us”. And I believe God was involved in the conversation as well.
What difference does it make. Do we have to have to write 2 sets of rules? One for under $100k per year salaries and one for over????
How about this. CSC has a popularity pole and the top 10 nicest people are immune to the rules.
I have done nothing but put 100% into Colorado karting. And doing so have spent a lot of money. When I am passionate about something I do it as hard as I can. I have tried to do it the right way without bashing other people or businesses. I have received numerous e-mails saying “don’t worry about the few people nay saying as you have a lot more supporters”.
I have had to endure Colorado karting businesses constantly spread bankruptcy rumors and telling people that our chassis are the reject materials from First Karts. This seems to be the way they try to sell their product. I have had problems with my longtime friend (Track owner) because of people doing the he said she said. Luckily we figured out the BS and have moved on. Now, I get called names and am getting e-mails that hint that I am picking on a handicapped person.
I know sticks and stones right. Well the stick and stones do hurt when you put as much into karting as I did. Why can people not just show up and race?
Please to all. If you want to question my integrity or motives come talk to me. I will be in Barrys tent helping them this weekend and would love to discuss my past intentions, integrity, and if in fact I do have balls.
This is why karting is different then any other motorsport. The great debates turn to personal attacks.

You know what, I had no one in that class. Once again I was just pointing it out to Dennis. I did not even know where Ron finished the pre-final. I saw the exhaust and QUIETLY brought it to Dennis’ attention so there would not be any “crying” as you put it. The only one “crying” or throwing a fit was your son on the red flag when someone ended up on their head. Real class dude.
Sorry I put such a nice post before but after reading your post a little closer and the :rotate: I will call a spade a spade. I will be in the office tomorrow and would show the dyno tests we did with the EVO (patriot) exhaust with the HP numbers on it but I like most of the guys at Biland so I don’t want to throw them under the bus.
This sucks. I did not cause a comotion or tell anyone about this other than Dennis. I was trying to avoid this bullshit.
You know what. I will not do a thing. I am over this sport. I will be posting everything for sale starting next week. I will be there for my customers for the rest of the year but without my stuff. I am done with the bitching people and I am starting to be one of them.
I have got better things to do with my time.

There are a lot of great people in the Colorado karting community but too much cancer for me.

I was not accusing anyone of cheating. I was pointing out that it was the Patriot exhaust. You can ask Dennis. I pointed out that the exhaust was different. I also told him I could care less about the engines as I shipped back my entire stock last week.
I just pointed out that the exhaust is different. I also pointed out that it increases horse power. The factory makes it look like it is for noise issues but neglect to tell people that it does truly increase HP.
I think Ron is doing great. This is not the first time either. Last year he ran great with the Rotax.
I do feel that the exhaust system should have been offered to other customers with the same engines. It is an unfair advantage. Period. You could see it compared to the other Bilands on top end.
This is not an attempt to discredit Rons weekend. He earned it and deserved it.

Thank you Stacey. We had a ball. And a big thank you to Mike Cunningham for putting together a rocking team so I could win back the fictional case of beer I never bought last year.
You know my way Mike ” I’d rather owe you then screw you out of it”.
I think we will need 2 people and an extra kart to go with each team next year. Not to watch for cheating but to haul extra beer. Man it was so hot I had 16 beers on the course and could still slap my butt with both hands.
Looking forward to next year.

I will have a few of my employees there and my dad will be running it. It should be Friday and saturday. We just got most of the stuff back and don’t have room for it so we will put it out in the parking lot. Most stuff will be 40 to 50% off.
Hopefully Biland will be here tomorrow to pick up their product so I have room inside. I have over 150k of it scattered in what used to be my retail store.
Also, if you have ATV’s and want aftermarket parts I have a heap of it for sale. Anything from plastic and seats to carbon tech reeds and brake pads. Wheels and tires out the wazoo.
I will list the hours tomorrow. I will also be listing stuff on e-bay and the colorado karter in the next week or so. I have close to 40 used karts. Anywhere from $800 to $3000 for rolling chassis. I am completely out of room and don’t have time to build our building next door in time for my shipments coming in the next few weeks so I have to move this stuff.
I also have the used tires for sale for $10 set. You can come pick through them friday and sat.

Mel, cheating little punk. Get the ringers. I had the ringers last year and we ended up 3 over par. ( had nothing to do with the adult beverages )

What do we have to do for the oil change? Since my parents sold their shop I haven’t been able to get free oil changes.

I now have everything back from Phoenix and all the tires you want. I think the best way to get them is to pick them up from us when you come to the GJ race. I am going to have an inventory clearout and sell some of the race team stuff that Friday and Saturday at our shop.
We will have over $100,000.00 worth of stuff on sale. I don’t have room for it so I will sell it at a big discount.
