You did not just arrive! You and your entire family have been here a long time and represent all good thing about Colorado Karting…Ron did good on his IMI equipment thanks to Blinks generousity and your tuning abilities. Period.
We have only been around 6-7 years and your family have been there the whole tour. Always smiling with your heads up higher than everyone else. Keep doing what you do and never change.
PS: It’s OK to get pissed every once in a while too.

I was not accusing anyone of cheating. I was pointing out that it was the Patriot exhaust. You can ask Dennis. I pointed out that the exhaust was different. I also told him I could care less about the engines as I shipped back my entire stock last week.
I just pointed out that the exhaust is different. I also pointed out that it increases horse power. The factory makes it look like it is for noise issues but neglect to tell people that it does truly increase HP.
I think Ron is doing great. This is not the first time either. Last year he ran great with the Rotax.
I do feel that the exhaust system should have been offered to other customers with the same engines. It is an unfair advantage. Period. You could see it compared to the other Bilands on top end.
This is not an attempt to discredit Rons weekend. He earned it and deserved it.

I had only received 10 exhaust systems in the first shipment and it was first come first serve. One other Colorado Biland (Hess) bought one before I ran out. I will have more next week and they will be available to anyone who wants one. The new exhaust was approved by TAGUSA on April 10 2006 but they were not available until now.

You gonna bolt one on the old Rotax?
We did dyno runs on both exhausts with Marty Casey in Seattle for TAGUSA. HP for the old exhaust was in the 28’s, with the new exhaust 29’s. This is a link from Biland which shows the difference in pipes and couplers but the dyno chart does not have the torque or HP scales on the side.

You know what, I had no one in that class. Once again I was just pointing it out to Dennis. I did not even know where Ron finished the pre-final. I saw the exhaust and QUIETLY brought it to Dennis’ attention so there would not be any “crying” as you put it. The only one “crying” or throwing a fit was your son on the red flag when someone ended up on their head. Real class dude.
Sorry I put such a nice post before but after reading your post a little closer and the :rotate: I will call a spade a spade. I will be in the office tomorrow and would show the dyno tests we did with the EVO (patriot) exhaust with the HP numbers on it but I like most of the guys at Biland so I don’t want to throw them under the bus.
This sucks. I did not cause a comotion or tell anyone about this other than Dennis. I was trying to avoid this bullshit.
You know what. I will not do a thing. I am over this sport. I will be posting everything for sale starting next week. I will be there for my customers for the rest of the year but without my stuff. I am done with the bitching people and I am starting to be one of them.

i didnt know who made issue of the exhaust system,but i did have my own thoughts about it.tell how you like it if 3 different people told you that ron was going to be dqed before hearing from anyone in an official capacity, talk about stealing your thunder over someones BS ! we try toget along with everyone and our team consists ron ,sophie and me.,with brads help thats it no big top or multible techs and unlimted funding.we are pretty independent and were having fun.so if i pissed in your post toasties thats racing.

That has to be the record girlyman post of the decade. You are quitting karting over a post that never even mentioned your name or even implied it? What a cop out. Dennis has more credibility than you give him credit for. I talked with him on the phone when he contacted me about faxing over the homologation papers for the exhaust and he never mentioned who brought the issue up and I would not care who it was anyway. I would question the pipe too if I did not know the rules were posted months ago. I think you are making a big deal over nothing. The facts are the exhaust has been legal since April 10 2006, it does make more power but not much, and the Biland has not won a CSC race this year so what is your problem? Ron took a second in Greeley with the old exhaust and he took a second at GJMS behind the same driver with the new exhaust. I sponsored drivers at Rock Island for three years and we were on the podium every time with the old engine and exhaust. Combination of the driver, chassis, and engine make the package, not just the exhaust. Did you dyno a Motori 7?

Ya know, I don’t know you, you don’t know me, but I’m gonna stick up for my brother briefly. After the race I made sure I asked Ron why he threw his hands up after the red was waved. He told me that he didn’t see what was going on at that point. No biggie.Sunday is done and over with. What was said was said, what was done was done. Im glad it is now known that the pipe is all legal, and if any one has any farther questions on them Im pretty sure Blink will be more then happy to answer. And I’m glad that it was brought up here and now rather then later. So no more fussin about it!!!!!
