I recieved this email after the Greeley Grand Prix. Thought I would share here, I am sure someone out there will want to share some old tires!

My name is Jamie and Sunday was my families first time ever seeing karting live… we were lucky enough to win pit passes from 107.9 the Bear. Thank you for being a big part in bringing it to Greeley. I have read about your newsletter and website and have a question regarding the disposal of old kart tires. I know most or all of the tires that aren’t useful anymore go straight to the garbage and landfill. I live in Milliken and happen to recycle old tires, making them into flower pots as a hobby. The tires from the karts I saw would be perfect for use but we are a low income family and can’t afford the karting experience and don’t know anyone in the karting community that we could ask for their old, worn out tires. That is why I am emailing you… I would like to offer an alternative to throwing the old tires away to any team in the Milliken / Johnstown / Greeley / Loveland area. If you can help me or point me in a good direction I have only flower pots to offer you and I would be happy to design a one of a kind just for you and your family in exchange for your help. Feel free to pass on my email address to whoever might be helpful to my cause. I don’t seek monitary gain, I only want to produce something usefull from waste. I don’t get to check my email untill we go to the library so if I don’t respond to one I aplolgize in advance and I will get to it (I have to check it at least once a month). We probably have 500 sets of used tires that we always say we are going to use on practice weekends only to fill the upstairs of my shipping department.
Let me know how many you want and I will have one of my guys get them together for you. We can bring them to the next CSC as we will have the bigger trailer ready by then. (I hope)
Also, we have tires with 20 to 30 laps on them for sale just to dump them for $10 per set. PM me if you want some. I need the room as I have 7 – 40 foot containers arriving in the next 2 weeks

I now have everything back from Phoenix and all the tires you want. I think the best way to get them is to pick them up from us when you come to the GJ race. I am going to have an inventory clearout and sell some of the race team stuff that Friday and Saturday at our shop.
We will have over $100,000.00 worth of stuff on sale. I don’t have room for it so I will sell it at a big discount.
I will post more about this late next week.
