ParticipantDo you need any other karts for display? Mine’s CLEAN since I haven’t been to the track in over two weeks and I live in Longmont…

ParticipantMy mole (Mikaela’s best friend’s brothers Uncle’s brother in law) told me that through her sources you actually DID get an extra $10.00 from CSC to spend at Dairy Queen for the kids, except Cole didn’t get one (is that why he never smiles?) 8)
Your time is worth money and so are your supplies. Charge us for the print cartridges they add up too!
I for one know that yain’t getting rich doing this so keep up the good work!
PS Tell Ken the cost of saying nice things is going to cost him the toy in his Happy Meal…

Participantthe swami’s have spoken…
I guess in my first two years of working the “John Deere” sponsorship route I should have expected this…
Mike Jansen
ParticipantWell I know that Ben’s been working out since I’ve been ribbing him about his McD’s reps 😀
Or is it that Ben’s telling me one thing and doing another? I’ll find out when I see him at the races or testing…

ParticipantTaG Mastersm20 lap finals
over the course of time I’ve been involved in racing it seems that plenty of people wait till the last minute to sign up (myself included)(First year I didn’t wait!)
Only a few more weeks till we can say, “let’s race!”

ParticipantFor you Rotaxians that need to know what’s recommended for a top end overhaul I’ll tell you this so listen and listen very carefully:
The con rod’s connected to the, WRIST PIN.
The wrist pin’s connected to the, NEEDLE BEARING.
The needle bearing’s connected to the, PISTON.
The piston’s connected to the, PISTON RING.(Mikaela put me up to that one, she’s been teaching preschool too much)
The needle bearing on the crank is (I’d guess) the weakest point on the bottom end. Knowing what I know now would i do it again and only do a top end? Probably not. The extra money is worth a peace of mind. Should my needle bearing have failed? Probably not since it didn’t have enough hours on it but hey, that’s racing right? I did hear something from an engine builder however who said since we’re at such a high altitude our engines do get stressed a lot more than those closer to sea level since we run so lean vs sea level and lower lubrication (I’d have to say this must have been concluded after many beers but hey, what do I know. Perhaps Brad could chime in here since he’s the engine expert in my opinion, or Jeb Clampett for that matter) 8)

ParticipantI tore a contact a few years ago and I used my glasses in my Shoei. Worked fine for me.

ParticipantKirk,
Hopefully it’ll show up.
FYI… Get a neon colored 3×5 card and write beacon on it and you’ll never lose it again if you tape it to your car steering wheel…good luck

ParticipantStacey,
I went back to my home town of Vegas for Christmas and brought the engine with me since I drove (rented a car and made it from Longmont under 10.5 hours but that’s another story)
Anyhoo, I wasn’t thinking…
FYI… Acceleration wasn’t happy about it either and they are fixing it under acceptable terms.Stacey, next time since I’ll have it done after season’s end…
To all you fellow rotaxians… I’d suggest you get a top and bottom end done if you’re putting 30 hours on your engine or are racing and you weigh in around 200# Better to have an expense up front versus having to pay again when the bottom end goes. Brad, Stacey, feedback please…

Participantwhere is the rule book? 8)
:bang
Mike Jansen
ParticipantYes it will be a good season and before any of you yahoos start:
I am finishing all 20 lap mains, period! No infield cheerleading this year…8)
Mike Jansen
ParticipantRich,
You’re reading into this way too early. Each & every year people wait till the last minute to register for the CSC (I can’t speak for CRE since I’ve never been there yet)
There are a few Masters I know of personally who haven’t registered.
Isn’t that right Mr Schumacher? 8)
Y’all have fun racing this weekend and Rich, save some eggs for the kids this year at the egg hunt. I heard all about it so you cannot deny truth 8)

ParticipantGoing to court….
Like my divorce attorney told me and also a well known Judge in Las Vegas told me a few times: When going to court the only ones who win are the Attorneys.
Do you realize that many of us can’t HEAR you because your ACTIONS are speaking louder than your words? How in the heck does one get escorted off the premisis? Nuff said…
I’ve never been to George’s track but I can’t imagine ever getting a police escort when asked to leave anywhere where I’m not wanted…
Like Rambo said in FIRST BLOOD, “let it go”
Or… That dog don’t hunt anymore
Or like the Beatles… Let it be…

Participantnice smelly beans, err bean oil…

ParticipantThere he goes, kickin a guy in the pills when he’s down!!! 8)
