We are not bad golfers, we just can’t cheat as good as the rest. Cook is so cheap he had to get a hole in one ( that knowbody seen ) so he did not have to give away his own tires. Thanks Stacey it was fun.

Stacey, Count me in. This would be a great time for Richy to get his case of beer back from the Steamboat tourny. My fault, we never recived it. 😉 Hey Richy I know you have some golfers on your race team, gather them up and lets have a great time. If you lady’s or gentalmen like to golf, this course will let you know how good you realy are. Come on every body lets go have some fun before you get on the track.

I begged Angie at G.J.M.S not to but I lost. If you can get it changed more power to you. For now I have over $500.00 worth of damage so I’m working four jobs. Just kidding on the jobs. There is just alot of karts all at once out there and with me on the track nobody is safe, novice or master. If we could split great, if not becarefull. Dont do what I did and start in the back, what a scary site that was, I still cant sleep.

Lets look at this another way. I raced Rock Island a few years back in the rain. That was one of the funnest times I’ve had in karting. Lets just say that they would not race in the rain. That trip would of costed me about $5,000.00 with out any racing. The CSC should think should look at this in this manner. All the racers go over the hill to race the CSC. The cost is still there for all the travle. We are told it is raining so go back over the hill and we will try it next week. Now I think getting a set of rain tires and having a great time would be cheaper, more fun than going back home then making the trip again the next week. Trip cost $400.00 to $500.00 X 2 trips = $800.00 to $ 1,000.00 plus all your time. Set of rains = $250.00 or talk to Doug he may give you a set of used ones. It lookes like it is cheaper to get rain tires than all the travle exspences. And let me tell you what a great time it is to run in the rain. If you have not done it you need to. Lets not miss a race because it is raining.

To the Cook family, what a great time :sun: you do it right. Doug just think us G.J. boy’s and girls are asked to make that trip 7 times ( if it don’t rain us out ) not just twice. 👿

What a joke. I’ll bet you 98% of the G.J. racers will not be able to compete in the CSC because of travling. Do realize that thay will have to travle OVER 3,500 miles. Call it the eastern slope sprint championship not the colorado championship. Atleast Steamboat was about half. Now Greely a points race instead of Steamboat. I dont beleive that the uper management is looking at this very fairly at all. :bs:

Stacey do you think RBI will pay up? Barley water sounds real good. GJMS 70 – RBI 75. I know I cant play very well but RBI must really suck. 😥 Thanks to all that was a great time.

I would like to see steamboat on another date my self just because in G.J. rock jam is on the 10th & 11th which is just like country jam. the hard part is that the week before will be rock island race, always on labor day week end. i guess we all have to determan what our priorities are and do the best we can do. :idn:

I ran every race that csc had to offer. Five out of town and two at home. Every race weekend I was at the track on saterday to practic and sunday to race. With most of my races being out of town the only time I had was the day before the race to practic. The steamboat race was great, I got back home at 8pm instead of 1pm. This is the way it should be ran. The tracks would make more money with the csc event ran on both days rather than rental karts on saterday. This would make us out of towners every happy and my wife. 😀

Those races sound realy fun if you live on the eastern slope.
